Currently, she is based in the North of the country and she was finding it “very hard” to find people “willing to help” with her company’s growth in the capital.

Jones decided to contact a separate male entrepreneur, Vishal Morjaria, for advice with her business after seeing how active he was in a Facebook group for London based start up companies.

"I simply asked him if he could introduce me to any mentors or advisors in London for growth and funding,” she explained.

These are the messages she got back...

Also funny is the fact that when she announces to him that she is gay (ie I wouldn't be into you anyway) it seemingly gets him more excited. Chill out on the porn, bro.

So some random lady got hit on by a douchebag? Why is this thread worthy again?
Because it is an example of the online (and offline in a lot of cases) environment, where women can't even have a professional conversation with someone without the other party hitting on them.

He said: “In the end I didn’t say much else because I found out that it wasn’t appropriate to ask her even though she said she was open.
“The digital and text word can be misunderstood but if this was said in person it wouldn’t have been a big deal.
“Richard Branson said all publicity is good publicity so I’m glad she’s spreading my brand around. I haven’t committed a crime here.”
He added that he understood why his messages seemed inappropriate but said that it wasn’t in this instance because she admitted: “yes to being sexually open.”

Can we out that unprofessional dickhead so that he doesn't keep harassing people for no fucking reason.
e: oh the guy is out already?
Why the hell would anyone want to do business with a literal dickhead.

It always seems that a gay woman telling a straight male who's hitting on her that she's a lesbian is like trying to put out a fire by throwing lighter fluid on it.
I'm not sure how "I prefer women" translates to "try harder" in these guys heads.

Anyway, I hope she succeeds, trying to start a company at 18 is admirable.

Wow that dude seems desperate. Why did she even ask him for advice?

Nobody anticipates that someone is going to just be like that unless you are un-trusting and cautious of literally everyone just because on the off chance they may be an unprofessional idiot; which is a good way to be isolated.

This fucking guy...She admitted to being "open about her sexuality", which means she's not in the closet, not "open sexually", you fucking moron.

yup. he can't claim that he assumed she was consenting to the conversation(after he already did something inappropriate in business context or well any), that was unambiguous what she meant and it was not to give him the go ahead.

what an awful person

It's because lesbians have been sexualized for the pleasure of straight men since..forever? It's almost as if straight dudes thinks lesbians exist for the sole purpose of turning them on.

Releasing these texts is pretty smart. It's going to get this girl and her company a bunch of publicity.

Yeah I agree. That guy needs to isolated though. What a moron.

She should have held back instead of telling him her age (maybe? I don't see the relevance related to her initial question) and told him to fuck off after he asked if she's single. Dude is a fucking asshole. A human fucking asshole.

WTF at those messages. It reads like a parody. How can you be so clueless. And I can imagine she was a stupid slut when it became clear she wasn't interested....

I have no idea how women put up with this kind of shit. Just reading this stuff as an outside party makes me want to scream.

"I haven’t committed a crime here" says everything about these thirsty dudes.

Yeah, and asking her age and about her boyfriend, which is how he got to the sexuality question in the first place, was completely inappropriate. Too bad this is frustratingly common.

I find his response in the interview worse than the original poor taste/judgement messages.

Guess what kind of business he runs. Just take a guess.
