Same
Glad I waited out on this.
If you haven't played RE7 and want to minimize spoilersI recommend you not watch that trailer.
Watching that trailer reinforced how much I loved this game. So good. I hope that Zoe DLC is really good. I haven't bought any of the others, just watched streams. They were neat but not something I was in a rush to play myself
A repackaged/GOTY version the same year of its original release. Sales didn't met expectations, I guess.
Glad I waited out on this.
I think it looks worse due to the dates both being in the same calendar year. RE7 released in January of 2017, now this complete edition comes in December of 2017. It's roughly 11 months, which is more than the roughly 10 months between Battlefield One's release in October 2016 and its complete edition that came out a few weeks ago in August of 2017. And BF1's season pass was $50, compared to RE7's $30, to boot.
too... late
wish I didn't see the trailer. also, december??? I wanted to buy the game rather soonish, but this is just screaming me to delay my purchase.
Reminder to future self: Don't buy RE VIII at launch.
OMGThe bits I'll say;
Not A Hero was originally made by a third-party studio, but Capcom was not happy with the quality they got back from the studio and wanted to keep the good will and trust of consumers from people after RE7, so they began heavily reworking it themselves even though it's free for everyone. That's the reason for the delay, they've been reworking Not A Hero and remaking various things, areas, mechanics, etc., for it themselves.
It takes place literally immediately after the RE7 ending, it's basically RE7's "true end" and has a proper final boss and everything. It has a decent amount of new stuff, you go to some new areas as well as expansions on some of the final areas in the game, there's some new types of Molded not in the main game, and that's probably all I should say. It's more action-focused, but that's not to say there's no horror. I don't know if this is in the revised version anymore, but the original one you could punch enemies.
The Zoe DLC takes place in a completely new location, its director was one of the lead people behind P.T., and it's horror focused.
The season pass is too damn expensive for what has been glorified deleted bonus content.With Black Friday you could potentially buy the game with the season pass for cheaper than this will probably be if you go physical. On PC the deluxe has already been like 45 at least once.

Oh well....hoping it will be as good as the main game (goty imo)
Well fuck. BRB gonna buy.
How much will Zoe's end cost? The SP is $30 so this might be like $15-20?
They're the same day

There's not proper price announcement, but the Gold Edition may cost more than the regular $60 price tag, but to be seen. My bet is on $60-90. Honestly it might just be a fancier repacking of the Deluxe Edition, but for those who want a physical edition.
The gold edition absolutely will be $60.

So if this takes place after the main game, how canthe the Molded still be enemies, don't they stop when Evie dies? Or am I making that up?
But PT director tho omg
So it seems like the dlc will have traditional RE cutscenes instead of exclusively first person ones.
Welp got this during the Steam Sale. May refund it to get this version instead.
First SFV and then RE7.
Makes me cautious of MHW, despite it looking amazing.
Both sound great, thanks for the info.The bits I'll say;

What the hell does the hand scene mean?Did he actually choose Zoe over Mia as canon path?

I don't think it was ever said that the molded just die if the "controller" is taken out.
Please. I will never choose Mia, screw that.
