The recent interview with Inti Creates gave us an interesting tidbit from the Mega Man Zero series: Mega Man Zero 4 was initially pitched as Mega Man Zero 1.5, taking place between the first and second game so that it would not interfere with Inti's "perfect ending". Capcom denied that idea, however, and wanted the game to be a direct sequel to Zero 3.
