Kaga Create, publisher of titles including Saki: The Nationals and Higurashi When They Cry Sui, shut its doors on December 31, 2015, the company announced.

The company said it was not able to create a large enough growth potential in today’s smartphone app-focused video games market, which lead to its unavoidable dissolution.

In a message posted on its official website, the company thanked everyone that supported its products, and apologized for the situation it ended up in.

Kaga Create was founded on October 18, 1999. This year would have been the company’s 17th anniversary.

The Crush Series are my favorite pinball games. Devil's Crush was so rad.

Ryukishi just lets anyone that wants to publish his games the Steam release is a completely separate thing handled by MangaGamer.
