Hey, thanks for posting this! Brandon from JUEGOS RANCHEROS/Fantastic Arcade here. Just wanted to give a little background on what these things are:
We're an indie game non-profit here in Austin that commissions our favorite devs to come up with new game ideas, which we then build little bar-top arcade cabinets around -- they debut at Fantastic Arcade & then we tour them around a bit. Here's a good shot of this year's crop:
Last year we did it through Humble, with the devs of DESERT GOLFING/ENVIRO-BEAR, PERFECT STRIDE/SONIC DREAMS COLLECTION, NUCLEAR THRONE/RIDICULOUS FISHING, etc etc: http://juegosrancheros.com/880/news/fantastic-arcade-humble-bundle/
It gives devs a chance to get paid to work on ideas that they might not be able to otherwise -- it's actually how WHEELS OF AURELIA got its start, which just came out on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/508740/
This year we decided to do this all independently and just pay the devs/release the bundle on our own, which is what we mean when we say all proceeds support JUEGOS RANCHEROS -- we're just trying to recoup our costs and get enough money to do this again with more amazing devs!
Moppin & Nemk are actually gonna keep expanding the world of NIUM and likely turn it into a much bigger game -- he gave a long talk about it and the making of DOWNWELL at Fantastic Arcade this year -- you can watch it here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAJ-tyiUVag
