Just got the german PR:

Burnout Paradise Demo erscheint bereits im Dezember 2007

Ab 24. Januar 2008 drehen im Paradies die Reifen durch

Köln, 26. Oktober 2007 – EA veröffentlicht am 24. Januar 2008 Burnout Paradise in Deutschland.

Online demo confirmed?

Seems weird all the online demos so far have been racing games.

Isn't the whole game online. How could their be a demo without online?

Anyway, I am so freaking excited for this. Early 2008 for the win.

multiplatform demos... ah... please both be out before release so i can choose which version to get without going on other people's opinions...

PS3 is leading platform, and that one is usually released slightly latter than the 360 versions. But PS3 is leading SKU so you might want to just wait for that version.

I believe there is a single player mode.

i know the PS3 version is meant to be better.. but i have a group of burnout playing friends on the 360. i can only judge for myself if there's enough of a difference to make me leave behind burnout wednesdays.

that's why i'm hoping we get both demos out before the game ships.

trust me, i'm prepared to import a PS3 pad from japan for the game if there's what i'd consider a significant difference between the two titles.

Criterion is usually pretty good with multiplatform titles. I mean, didn't Burnout 3 beat out Halo 2 for GOTY @ Gamespot?

Awesome! I thought this would be pushed back to next Summer, so January is a nice surprise.

I'm also pleased that this is a true next-gen PS3/360 Burnout, and not another PS2/Wii/360/PS3/PC multi-platform lowest common denominator EA sequel.
