This is the big one.

Bosses repeat. I can deal. It's not ideal but it's not a gamebreaker.

Backtracking has been apart of most of the great action games. Not to this degree, but it's always been there. Those two issues ensure DMC4 is no classic, but they don't prevent it from greatness.

The platforming though. Jesus. Every 2 levels or so there is a platforming puzzle, and they are all completely terrible.

Oddly enough, I was fine with the platforming.

The backtracking and repeat of bosses just pissed me off. That, and the fucking dice game.
