Are those cases full of bottles on the pallets (bottom right)? That would mean... tons of weight crashing down, I hope the forklift cage held up or else this guy was seriously hurt.

You can still see the forklift above the carnage for the most part. The stuff that falls is mostly in front. If that gif is real, it's still a crazy amount of damage, but the angle and lens exaggerate it, I think.

EDIT: lol, I just noticed the other forklift bugging out as soon as the shelves fall. Look for him on the upper right.

Forklift overhead protection is pretty robust, although it's easy enough for thin objects to penetrate the cabin.

I've searched for a lot of "racking collapse" videos on Youtube as it relates to my work. Funny/scary stuff.
