Happy to see Ni No Kuni return and Revengeance not bomb out of the chart

Ni No Kuni especially interesting since thats with no advertising campaign.

The last UK chart confirms Ninokuni suffered shotages for some time. Last week it was out of top 40. It feels good.

It's bundled with PS3 so that gives it a boost.

Bundles. It's hard to tell much about the UK chart sometimes because a lot of the games are bundled with hardware.

Good second week for Rising.Happy to see Ni No Kuni charting again.

Oh and a VITA title.As far for WiiU......the console doesnt exist in UK.

Remember when the hero-focused action genre was declared dead after DmC's performance by journalists and bunch of other elitists?

Yeah - just give people something that appeal to them and don't fuck up marketing with dumb allegations; let the game talk instead the PR guy

Excellent to see NiNoKuni back in the chart and yes, certainly proves that stock was holding it back all along. Which is a shame it's taken this long to restock the title but great that people still have the interest in buying it.

Yes, bundled games count towards the charts as long as they can be purchased separately. Hence why Wii Sports never showed but Nintendo Land did.

As for Uncharted not showing, GT5 will have some standalone sales to add to the bundled sales - and likely just enough to push it in to the Top 40.

Glad to see Hitman is still selling.

The most criminally underrated game of last year. It deserves long legs.

Tomb Raider will take the top spot off Aliens for best selling game so far this year.

By hook or by crook.

S-E have already started dropping the game to £30 to try and hit targets. They did the exact same with Hitman.

Tomb Raider will be no.1 next week. SimCity will debut in the Top10 and Naruto will chart somewhere as well. Everything else won't.

It's based on revenue (£) rather than just units sold. So basically a chart of what's bringing in the most money.

It's just an analysis of infos about the trend of last Castlevania titles of portables. And considering they weren't even in DS specific charts, there isn't even the (legitimate) doubt about overall numbers.

Dude, the charts are bottoming out at about 1k. It's the second 3DS game of note this year (after Sonic Racing)... If it doesn't reach top 30... welp.

So you'll be all ready to blame 3DS when it happens even if the last Castlevania titles for DS weren't even in DS-Specific top 40? Actually, I'm expecting it to enter in charts, despite not knowing in what position, but seeing how last titles did in UK, it doesn't inspire me confidence. I repeat, just in UK, the country considered by most the ONLY country that represents how things goes in the overall Europe.

No one actually considers that it's just we get a lot more regular insight into UK positions.

German bis awards get quite a bit of talk when they pop up too but you already know that.

It's fine to have your little rant though since Nintendo isn't doing well but we all know you would be cheering up a storm and praising the market if they were.

Nah, absolutely. UK market is doing pretty bad even now (IIRC, it's still losing 24% weekly from 2012, that represented another big slowdown compared to 2011) compared to the past, and we've also seen recently a giant part of its decrease is from Nintendo itself that isn't able to attract customers in UK anymore (zombieetcetc - sorry, you nick is a bit complicated to remember XD - showed it recently, no?). Who can deny Nintendo is doing bad in UK? We have chart, we have 3DS tiepid at best response softwarewise, Wii U doing worse than Vita, they have a problem with general UK public, and I think this comes also from their prices, too high for the market. But I have problems when people who's used to European charts judge overall Europe just from UK. Or just from Germany, France, Italy, etc.etc. I mean, just from one country. We Sales-Agers should know better than others that Europe is quite a different situation than US, since there are many countries that can have different tastes, and that UK represent a big exception compared to other countries, since it's the only country where 360 sell pretty well.

Still, if it were just for Nintendo, I wouldn't have praised Ninokuni results, or Persona's debut last week.
