This online app will allow players of Animal Crossing: New Lead and Tomodachi Collection to post their in-game screenshots directly to Twitter or Tumblr via the 3DS' internet browser.

Also allows simultaneous posting on different sites. Can add comments.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Press R & L simultaneously to take a photo and save it to memory. (Top Screen only)
Tomodachi Collection: New Lifestyle - Press X for the top screen, Y for the bottom screen.

I like the sound of this. Though Iwata is right in that most gamers don't wish to push gaming stuff to regular social media, having the option definitely doesn't hurt.

Great news. Hopefully the 4DS will have the standard L & R press (or whatever equivalent) to take screengrabs in-game.

Should be L + R + Start + Select. Some games do use L & R at the same time.

More and more I think we won't get proper miiverse on current 3DS... 3DS "lite" will likely have more ram and be designed for it.

Integration with twitter or facebook stateside to post pictures would be smart.


Smart enough that I doubt they will do it.
