Googling it for a bit seems to indicate that Guitar Hero's servers have been down since the summer of 2012, approximately. Sucks?

huh. tried googling it and can't find anything with the error code provided to me etc. damn.

Yeah, all the Guitar Hero games' servers, and by extension the music stores, went down years ago.

You can still download the tracks from Xbox Live and PSN, I think, but Wii users are out of luck.
