There's something about Splatoon that reminds me of De Blob. This game looks freaking AMAZING.

No way, most of those maps look new, total or somewhat recycled. I couldn't get a full tally of the environments during the quick-cutting, though.

It has that Shibuya-kei sound and franticness we normally associate with Naganuma.
Lots of catapulting and hopping from platform to platform...if it has an FPS mode, I might go with that and see if this will be the best FPS platformer of next year.

I felt that too, all we now is Hideki Naganuma for the soundtrack. Although the music in the latest trailer is very well done.
I'm loving all these new characters, levels, puzzles, platforming elements, even an 8-BIT SEQUENCE. This game looks sooo EAD, and by that I mean packed full of creative ideas and charm.
