Favorite Publisher/Developer Intro? (Warning: Possible Nostalgia)

I was watching a Let's Play of some old Konami and Capcom games and I heard these again for the first time in 18+ years.

It makes me wonder what other intros were there like this that I can't remember? I had a nostalgia overload upon hearing both of those. I miss the days when those names used to mean something, and when that sound was almost a guarantee that what you were about to play was going to kick some serious ass.

Edit: Extend this to game intro/title screen.

I wish developers and publishers were still allowed to have their own variants of the hardware bootup screen like they did on the Genesis. It added so much flair. But I guess this is just as much a technical issue with disc-based systems since they'll show the boot screen before loading the actual game content.

Rockstar thread?

but seriously...

Sony had some slick intros for their games during when PS3 was in it's prime.

Classic Rare intros were always great. The Goldeneye intro with the build up is amazing. Others such as Banjo and Conker were more creative, using the characters of the games/their worlds alongside the logos. Conker with the chainsaw and the dragonfly slamming into the logo were both memorable.

Valve with the spout in the guy's head (Left 4 Dead one)

My least favourite may be Deep Silver's, just because it's so loud and has a weird look to it.

Interplay's mid '90s logo has been my favorite for a long time.

It's so bombastic, fun, and appropriate for the time. They only used it for a few years, but it's not just a great product of the CD age
(think of the red beam as being a CD laser)
, but it's also a great publisher intro... love it! Their next one, seen in the video above after the first one, is alright, but isn't anything special. More serious and less fun, I think. I've never seen a publisher intro I like nearly as much as Interplay's first CD logo video. (The green background might help too, since that is my favorite color...)

Beyond that... on a related note, they aren't a videogame developer, but how about TSR's dragon intro, as seen in Baldur's Gate's intro? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoSqDtky0pU (the second one, after Black Isle's). Love that!
