February 1, 2015: 1.0!

Finally, 1.0 is out, with a ton of new improvements! Note that it can take a while for it to become available in the Play store, depending on your location and Google's datacenters.

Full improvements list:

  • Many, many bug fixes in JIT and elsewhere, improving compatibility
  • Proper fix for Zenfone and related devices
  • Direct3D 9 supported as a rendering backend on Windows, helps on old GPUs and can be faster than OpenGL in many cases
  • You can now create specific configs per game
  • FPU rounding modes much better supported, fixes the Peace Walker boss that was undefeatable. NOTE: This breaks saves in Gods Eater - you must turn off the better rounding, load your save game, turn it on and save.
  • The JIT now uses SSE on x86, improving speed considerably. This does not affect ARM devices, that's for the next version or two.
  • Improved audio output code on both Windows and Android, reducing audio latency on Windows and on some Android systems
  • FFMPEG upgraded, fixed some music hangs ("GHA phase shifts")
  • Some Ad Hoc improvements, coldbird.net is now default adhoc server. Ad Hoc still unfinished and hard to use.
  • Graphics fixes: Bezier/spline drawing fixes, vertex position fixes, DanganRonpa on Adreno fixed, flat shading fixed, vertex cache improved, some PowerVR blockiness issues fixed, screen scaling filter added, Google Cardboard support
  • Simulate UMD speed better, fixing hangs in several games
  • More Atrac3 fixes, fixing hangs
  • Somewhat better disk full handling
  • Fixes to dynamic unloading of code, fixing problems in GEB and TRM 2/3
  • Updated to SDL2 where applicable (Linux, Mac)
  • Some new features, like analog/dpad-swap hotkey, graphics hack for Phantasy Star, show last bit of debug log in dev tools, etc
  • No more need for MSVCRT DLLs on Windows
Enjoy!

Does this run well on anyone's Nexus 7 2013?

Everything is so slow. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong though

Since Konami doesn't want to let me buy Metal Gear Ac!d on PSN so I can play it on my vita,I guess im going to be giving this a go.

I hope the DX9 mode stays for a long time, because Birth By Sleep and other PSP games in 3D is a real sight to behold.

So how do I get this for Windows? Their store for that version is closed apparently.

Download the 1.0 version under PPSSPP for Windows. You don't have to buy PPSSPP unless you feel like getting the gold version to financially support the developers.

edit. The download link just 404s. :( (i86)

Hmm, I'm not sure what's going on there then. Hopefully they fix it.

makes good threads.
Seems I can finally play Ultimate Ghouls n' Ghosts Kai now without any hitches with this version! For a long time I kept getting weird black flashes which I could never fixed, but it appears they are no more. Now to finally play this all the way through on a television screen the way it was meant to be played.

I hate the name, I think that the PC(Console) is the best. PCSX, PCSX2 are nice. PCSP sounds cooler/nicer than PPSSPP any day. Other than the name, it is great to say so much progress occurring on this emulator; it's in hyper-development mode.

This is a great emulator, I completed Digimon Adventure with it using one of the dev builds a week ago. Never tried the emulator on mobile though so don't know how that runs.

I'll check out the 1.0 release sometime this week probably.

2 questions:
1.Do the God of War games run well now?
2.Is it possible to connect a DS3 or a DS4 to a Note 4 without rooting?

Unfortunately going too high res causes too much frameskipping for my taste, and yes there are some visual artifacts, and also a bug where I can't change the render resolution (causes the app to crash) on my Shield.

Still, quite impressive and full frame rate, nicely-upscaled play! Pretty nice to have this since it's not on the PSN Store for Vita.
