The Walmart I work at puts out a sign letting people know we have Xbox One's in stock. We still only get 2-3 PS4's in at a time. I'm shocked something so supply constrained is doubling the sales of its competitior. Xbox One sales must have really nosedived for this to be a reality.

PS4 was supply constrained throughout December. By the middle of December, Xbox One was in ample supply everywhere. Therefore, despite Sony selling every single unit it brought to stores, it was also supply 53 launch countries, and couldn't quite match the overwhelming supply Microsoft inundated the North American stores with.

Of course, now there are just systems everywhere that nobody wants.

Price drop before the 2014 holidays is the latest it will happen. A price drop after 6 months after release isn't the most uncommon thing in the world for consoles.

X1 collapsed hard. MS will certainly be in panic mode right about now. Sales have bottomed out here in the UK and I assume the same is true of sales in other regions too.

Titanfall isn't going to right this ship. It's just not going to happen.

Time for deep discounting/incredible value adds.

This is even worse for MS. Seems like Sony will be getting most of the multiplatform sales, which is terrible for MS. It means lower software sales across the board, lower Live subscription sales, lower DLC sales etc. This is a complete reversal of 360 vs. PS3 gen.
