Boy, I'm awful. Playing with a friend is a little more fun. I didn't really like the other modes because I was even worse at those. A Last Titan Standing match lasted about a minute once.

Triple Threat is so nasty. The downside is obviously you have to get up in their grill, but thankfully I like to play pretty aggressively in a titan anyway.

I'm pretty sure paired with electric smoke I've taken out other titans in a handful of seconds with it.

I'm done with this game its already grown stale, the ai is a waste of what could have been more players, the maps start looking the same especially since your kinda rushing around so much, and after countless server disconnects after each match I went back to BF and realized how much I was missing vehicles, real weapons and strategy and massive maps. This game just doesn't have staying power for me I suppose if its the only FPS you've played since skipping COD and BF I can see how it can appeal to so many but I'm done. PC btw.

I can't get voice chat to work. I can't talk to people or hear people talking through either my tv or mic. My mic works because it works fine in party chat, and my kinect is working.

I also know people are talking because I see their names pop up next to a mic icon on the screen.

Anyone know what's wrong?

Simply stated: Play more.

1. You won't ADS to check anything out, you'll know what you're seeing. The difference between players and minions is obvious. Different models, different movement, different attack patterns.

2. The minions add a needed modifier to keep modes like Attrition from devolving into a bunch of people who wallhang in a corner somewhere waiting for their titan to fall. You need the points if you want your team to win. You need to kill other pilots trying to farm your minions, etc. It is another layer on top of boring deathmatch---and even then Attrition pales pretty quickly compared to the objective based modes like Hardpoint and CTF.

As far as taking the competitive side seriously good luck with that. I don't see any heroes-only tournaments for DOTA.

For a while I was going Ogre. I love its survivability but its single dash can be inadequate. I find Atlas regens dashes quickly enough to keep a lot of enemy titans spinning like a moron with their vortex up looking for me while I'm scooting behind it. Damage Core is also great -- its essentially game over for the other dude with TT + Core.

I'd probably mess around with the Stryder for its 3 dashes, but as much as I'm hyping up the dash thing, I just find the dash core lacking. 3 is more than enough for as is.

Edit: Ogre is still amazing for Chaingun + Accelerator and Railgun, two weapons where you can stay at distance but need the time to charge up for full damage.

Just picked the game up for PC today. It's quite fun...when I'm able to play. I assume the constant server disconnects (practically every other match) are a result of the game being still being so new. I don't think it's anything on my side.

Haven't had any issues online yet, It's been smooth for me.

Probably be a better use of their time to look into the reasons people ragequit. ;) If the teams are stupidly stacked why should anybody be required to hang around? They're not there for your entertainment value alone, you know?

I wish all the campaign missions were like Demeter. Both teams have really awesome openings and the story stuff is almost followable? If you could actually affect the outcome it'd be really great actually.

Man, I did the coolest shit. Wall ran on 3 walls did a 90 degree pivot with a double jump and grabbed a window ledge climbed in and blasted some dude who just happened to be standing there. I bet he watched the kill cam like, "God damn!"

Or he just skipped it.

I love it, I have extra ammo and I just spam it. Once nine mines are out it does some damage quick. On ctf I also spam it inside doors to the flag to clear it out, works well.

It's so weird anyone is experiencing this - I've played 10 hours of this game and I have been spawned killed once. I usually remember this stuff because being spawn killed is one of the most annoying things that can happen to me in any multiplayer game. I also spawned right behind an enemy pilot and was able to execute them without them knowing. That's pretty much two spawn problems in my 10 hour playtime. That's a whole lot different than my experience with Battlefield and CoD where being spawn killed and spawn killing is a way of life.

Came here to post this. I play with a controller on PC and there is LITERALLY no binding for Push To Talk in Titanfall while using a controller on PC, WTF Respawn.

Man, I'm so close to getting to Gen 2. I'm a level 48 right now. Anyone know how much experience you need to go from 49 to 50. And once you hit 50 do you start another generation. Or do you have to get more experience while being 50?

I just hit Gen 2, and once you finish level 49, that is it.

You don't have to level up 50.

Can't tell you the exact XP needed though, I was just rushing through it.

Pilot Hunter is most definitely the weakest mode.
I tend to just leave a lobby if it shows up in the Variety Pack.

I've been playing alone most of the day. Anyone wanna play with me on Xbox 1?

Sorry if it's silly, but is this a game you guys see playing... all year? Anyone getting bored, or feeling that it's more "flavour of the month"?

I could play games like Halo CE and COD4 for months, but never really got that spark with most other games. I loved TFall's beta, and CTF mode looks real good, but I wonder how true the "needs more modes, not enough content, gets old fast" complaints are.

Anyone try going back to slower games like COD or Battlefield?

One thing I often wonder is that if games like TitanFall exist, they must seriously throw people off who go to other heavier shooters. Sort of like how some people seem to complain about COD for not having Bad Company's destructibility.

I do think Titanfall's amazing speed and movement could make people turned off from titles like COD, sort of how lots of COD players can't seem to adjust to other shooters if it doesn't "feel" like COD. I'm interested if the same will happen with Titanfall

After having not a single issue with the game since launch i cant get into a game, connection issues :( sad panda. having said that my eyes are bleeding and i need to stop for a while
