This reveal has been so much better than Ghosts...
I remember saying to myself, "this would be a good game", when they had the exosuit scene from the GI Joe movie. Now here it is.

in that video wario posted, 00:35 seconds, at the billboard, it said keep lagos clean. and on the left of the video, you see a flag. is Nigeria involved? Yes that is a nigerian flag and lagos is a city in nigeria, and yes there are bridges like that, but taxi?? i dunno
yea the game is about nigeria, things like that happened in the past (what kevin was narrating) and the man they were interrogating is nigerian.

With the exception of the original Black Ops, I cannot STAND Treyarch CoD games. Black Ops II is the game I like the least in the series and was the first CoD game I didn't platinum or achieve max prestige on - I just found the MP to be a mess, the SP to be boring and the lag issues online made it the worse MP portion in the entire CoD series for me.
Tech-wise, I was able to swallow it as it wasn't to crazy. But guys jumping around 50ft in the air kicking people, grenades that expose players through walls, and now more cloaking? Please please please please please, move away from the gd wallhacks in MP. It's like it's the new 'thing' in and a wallhack is mandatory now.

The fact that the explosion effects, particles, lighting and animations are better aswell as the leak months ago that said sledgehammer was making a new engine make me believe its a new engine. No way this shares any tech with the 720p X1 Ghosts. I think it will be 1080p on both platforms aswell if this trailer is put up in 1080p since its x1 footage.

Eh, with COD and story trailers its pretty tough to determine the final tone of the SP.
Ghosts was portrayed in its reveal as a somber story of the fall of america and a band of soldiers fighting together hunting their enemies.
Where as the final game was just RAH RAH AMERICA! with one of the dumbest plotlines I have ever seen in an FPS.
Its even more laughable when the reveal trailer for it advertised from the acadamy award winning writer of TRAFFIC
Hell I bought it for 30 bucks since I wanted to play something on my PS4. I can't even name any of the characters from it.
This one is mostly just promising action, american ironies and kevin spacey.

Like every other "time period" used in COD this is probably also a trend. They will use it for some entries and then move to something else.
COD 1, 2 and 3 were set during the same time period (WWII)
Modern Warfare 1, 2 and 3 were set during the same time period (WWII)
And now this will be the third COD with a future setting (if I'm not wrong).

It may seem silly but there are so many small things in this trailer that have me thinking its the same engine, from the movement of the characters, even the civilians, to the cut scene graphics and animations, it has to be the same engine.

Graphics look great, but I'm not buying this "leaked" shit. Too much has leaked to not be intentional. Every CoD game since MW3 (remember the laughably obvious Kotaku leak?) has had a major leak before the unveil.

That was the first Call of Duty related anything I've been interested in (never played a single CoD game before). Really good trailer. It doesn't look as good as Battlefield or Killzone, but it's a huge step up visually for the series. Spacey's model didn't look that good to me though.
Also, not seeing the Titanfall similarities, at all.

Considering how bad BF4s animations and average mp models are, I'd say its a wash. Especially if its 1080p/60fps

Or you know, some outlets will break NDA's and put stuff out just for hits.
A recent example would be AC Unity. Those screens were completely unfinished and unflattering that ubi had no choice but to unveil early.

I'm normally laughing at cod, but this catches my eye in a very good way. I'm very interested to see how these new concepts change the core game, I hope it flips it upside down. There is a part of me that fully expects the cool tech to be very on rails and limited so as not to change the multiplayer much.
Plot twist, it has dogs.
This looks like its treading close to Black Ops futuristic ground, which irks me because Activision was so set on their being "three" universes. Guess we will find out more soon enough, but so far colour me uninterested.

They've got powered exoskeletons, spidertanks, railguns, and goddamn hoverbikes. I'd say this is pretty full-on sci-fi already.
Might end up being the first CoD I've bought since MW2. Need to see some gameplay first, though.

Isn't cod tied up till 2015?. They've always been advertised by ms since that e3 where they announced map packs first a few years back.
