I'm not as invested in this title as other people are
If this was FF XV instead, I'd flip out
but I'm super bummed I'm not getting a new game from the studio that gave me Shadow of the Colossus.

Greatness can be measured by a man's work. Ueda and the team did wonders that made them endeared to a lot of fans that waited, hoped that they will see the next work from this team. Now finally they crash and burned as all hope is lost, the masterpiece they all have been waiting to see will only forever remain a figment of imagination. A memory of past greatness and strength, followed by a steep decline as euphoria and joy are sucked out of them as others eclipsed them.

The age of PS3's wrongs cast a huge blemish over Sony's reputation, and with this we can finally cast this dark period over.
Really not in meltdown mode

They straight up lied with regards to this game.

I haven't been this pissed since my Digimon Cards were stolen.

This is the worst possible news right before fucking E3.

Well, the premise showed promise in and of itself.

Maybe it's cautious optimism, but I'll wait until E3 passes first. The timing seems rather odd, especially since without more information yet they could well have canceled development on it as a PS3 game. Not that Versus XIII had anything indicating that happening for it.

This is all an elaborate ruse. Sony and IGN are collaborating by spreading this BS to get everyone riled up. Then, at E3, they are going to dim the lights at the end and a trailer will play. This trailer will be in full 1080p 60fps and will depict The Last Guardian in all it's next gen glory. At the end of the trailer, the screen with fade, and a date will date will appear on the screen: 6.9.14. Riots will break out in the streets as Team ICO starved nerds flood from their basements to their local GameStop, whom we all know are staying open late after E3.

It all makes sense now.

Wow, all is not well aboard the Sony ship....very rough year for them :/

Can't believe this kind of thing would get leaked right before E3. Very strange, and maybe just the slightest bit suspicious.

You know, we're all gonna miss this game and I hope Team Ico will do an another game that will be exclusively to the PlayStation 4 with another charming and beautiful story unlike a boy and a winged pet, this will be an another story that people will fallen in love.
But don't worry, I'm sure that E3 will be a solid E3, maybe Bethesda will announce a surprise or Valve or Sony or Microsoft or Nintendo.
It won't be a great E3 unlike last year's, but it will be good or not.

I think the only one at fault here is the dev team themselves. Sony obviosuly gave them a ton of time and chances. If in seven years they couldn't put something together then perhaps it's for the best.

I think he's talking about how you're always quick to try and diffuse any negativity towards the sony brand(s). Which is true, but you're right about keeping a level-head.
