Watch Dogs 2: Settings

What are possible settings for Watch Dogs 2?
Cities that are already under heavy surveillance or cities that are on the verge or 'make a case' for ctOS? What about across the pond in the UK?

Recently, the W_D facebook page posted this image.

I don't think that is a spoiler about a possible location - Camden is under 24/7 hour surveillance, in real life.

How about you we focus on improving gameplay mechanics before bringing up the prospect of having WD2 in a different setting..

Their social media has been tweeting about surveillance within major cities for more than a year now.

Not sure if OP was thinking this was a viable game option or just brought it up because they were prompted to think about a sequel location. If the former,

I remember hearing some fake rumor about Las Vegas and I guess that would be pretty cool.

Well it's going to be in a different setting so why not talk about it?

Most cities in Jersey would be an ideal choice, I"m from AC and I would be interested in seeing AC as a spot.

I want something down in new orleans tho but whatever

Not another American city, Chicago was so boring. That might just be because they made a boring game though.

I rather have a more exotic place. I'm tired of American/Western Europe cities. If it's the US again I prefer cities like L.A. or Las Vegas than cities like Chicago or New York.

Are we going to be able to tell when they downgrade the game? Hur hur hur.

Honestly I am hoping for Edinburgh, getting sick of games set in the US and London doesn't fun either.

I'd love it if they did a London setting, but at the same time - speaking as someone who's been to London 13 times (coming 14) in the past three years and who wants to eventually live there at somepoint - it'd need to be done from inch-to-inch, mile-to-mile because I want a perfect replica of that city (also partly why I loved The Getaway's free-roam mode). Underground included too please.

But the one thing I worry about, speaking as someone who liked Watch Dogs and feel there's a really good core concept to build upon for the sequel, is that Chicago didn't feel like it had a personality to it. Whereas with London, it's immediately obvious, albeit up for interpretation as to what that personality is. Not to mention, IMO, Chicago felt 'too small' in the game. For a city as big as Chicago, I was expecting a lot bigger.

If Rockstar won't get their shit together and take us back to Vice City, then Ubisoft better capitalize on this very lucrative opportunity.
