What genre should Naughty Dog tackle next?

After Uncharted (action/adventure) and The Last of Us (horror/zombie... ...sort of), what genre should Naughty Dog tackle next that follows the cinematic formula of their current games? To come two mind for me. One is sci-fi/space opera, which was rumored when Naughty Dog visited SpaceX as well as the creation and inclusion of the Savage Starlight comics found scattered throughout The Last of Us. The other is high fantasy (such as The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, etc.), which if I'm recalling correctly, was considered prior to them settling on the action/adventure focus of Uncharted. Any other suggestions?

True scifi I think would be a cool fit for them since there's less of that TPS wise. Though a historical piece if they pick a very unique time period.

Give us Savage Starlight

I didn't collect the comics on the PS3 version, but I made sure to do so in TLOU:R. I want to see a fully realized version of that universe. It sounded so cool.

I doubt they'd want to step on SSM/RAD's toes. From the looks of it, The Order: 1886 is basically what a Naughty Dog historical piece would be.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
I'd love to see them do a colorful, action-packed 3D platformer with a likable duo. Maybe a guy and an animal friend or something.

Go back to the comedy/3D platformers they were once known for (Crash Bandicoot/Jak and Daxter) and see if they still got it. (Doesn't necessarily have to be an existing franchise)

I'd like to see their take on Sci Fi.

Whatever game genre they decide fits better with it

I would put non existent mortgage on TLOU2 being their utmost priority. Fuck new IPs strike while the iron is boiling hot.

Yeah I was thinking about that after I posted. They'd have to either change the type of game they make or something.

90's cops. Co-op action game. Point Break/Bad Boys.

While I do want a space game from Naughty Dog, I don't want it to be Savage Starlight. Would love if it were a hard sci-fi game.

Aynthing but a cover shooter please. I'm so sick of it. They waste their talent as story and character writer on the boring gameplay. A genre where you can interact more with said character and enviroments. RPG, point and click adventure or what do I know... If I see a conveniently-placed-waist-height wall in their next game I will just skip it.

I have a feeling Amy Hennig's Star Wars game will feel like a sci-fi game using the Naughty Dog formula. Star Wars: 1313 seemed to use it as well. I'm so sad we'll never get to play that game.

Something interesting. I liked TLOU's characters and their stories, but I really don't give a damn about zombie apocalypse anymore and haven't for a long time. I'd like to see them attempt to craft a world with the kind of lore and depth that would set it apart of a popcorn flick. More depth to their games in general would be a welcome sight to be perfectly honest.

I suggest you play The Last Of Us, then.

Something outside of the typical fantasy, sci-fi and zombies. I'm tired of Tolkien and generic space sci-fi/fantasy and zombies in everything and I want something more.

Something outside of a shooter as well.

What if they did a straight-up comedy, but still followed their current cinematic formula. That could be interesting. Maybe they could get some well known comedians.
