We were playing literally a minute after putting the disc in so no patches or profile yet. I'll have to check after restarting the game and it applying 1.02.

Also, too many instances of the word mine in my previous post.

I let the initial disc install happen first. Then I clicked "Options" and "Check For Update" to get the latest patch before ever entering the game. I haven't had any popit freezing but I haven't got very far either. I did the LBP/LBP2 importing too. My only problem is that none of the Day 1 DLC is showing up even though it says it is installed.

No, this game is cake walk for the PS4. I would guess the only reason it isn't 60fps is so they don't break the physics since everything is backward compatible and cross platform with the PS3 at 30fps.

I tried those steps on mine as well and I still had the popit freeze.

The intro movie makes it really obvious this is a different dev. It never even fully registered for me but the MM entries really did have a distinct, unique voice to them.

...and already the first bug. Opened the popit during the intro sequence, got a terrible scratching sound and it dropped me out to a weird loading screen for about 30 seconds until taking me back to gameplay. Weird.

Thought I might try to help with the popit issue... My friend started having the popit freeze after taking a bunch of screenshots...

I only had a handful of screenshots on my PS4 and my popit barely hitched when opening.

Do you have a lot of PS4 system screenshots stored? Maybe try copying them to USB (if you want to save the images) and deleting whats on the system.

I have hundreds of saved screens and videos on my PS4. It could have something to do with the game trying to read that part of your system, maybe for stickers or something. It would also explain why it seems to be completely random for some people and didn't get picked up in testing.

Can everyone provide some feedback on this, maybe try backing up/exporting your screenshots and clearing them out from your system?

Also if you are having the popit issue - tells us roughly how many screenshots you have. Maybe we can narrow this down

I'll be home in about an hour or so, gonna clear out my screenshots and move them to my PC and see if that helps

Still trying to get an answer from someone here...Has anyone got the Day 1 DLC to show up in their game? The code redeemed but none of the content shows up. I think they are having major issues with all of the costumes though. Some show up as free, some unavailable even though they should be free too, and DLC codes that still don't work.

Oh well I'd rather play LBP3 with no popit freeze!

I wish it allowed us to pick the default save location for videos and pictures.
Probably should ask Sony to do that.

only issues I constantly run into on PS3 version

Oddsock NEVER has the right costume for the first couple minutes of a cutscene even using some I haven't bought from zom zom or unlocked.

Couple of layering issues. Example is a part where
swoop carries sackboy and his feet appear in front
or in 4th map falling behind the stage in the hub world.

Voice acting sometimes cuts off and stays silent while mouth flaps or is off sync of the subtitles. occasionally just skips dialogue to catch back up.

Game froze when trying to import LBP stuff again after the initial import.

I just tried this and I can confirm this fixed the freezing issue. I had a bunch of video clips and photos and I first deleted a lot of photos/videos that were taking up several GB's of space and I noticed the freezing length shortened from 3 seconds to like 1 second. I then deleted everything from my photo gallery and now it's instantaneous. Thanks a lot!! I did this all in game and went back instantly to check and it's fixed.

I'm gonna try recording and taking pictures and see if I can replicate it.

OK...I messaged donkey and mcbradders and tweeted at Sumo about the popit thing. So hopefully if they didnt already figure it out they might have somewhere to start. I'd like more confirmation than just DMPrince though :p

I had a bunch of driveclub, infamous and other screens and now after removing them all(I had already uploaded a bunch of them online and plus I'll take new ones anyway), it's gone. Feels so much better.

Sweet. I wanted to keep my stuff on my PS4 but I guess it's time to clear it out. I have 100 GB of space eaten up in my capture gallery haha

Yeah I get about 30 seconds of lag. I'm soooooooooooo glad they fixed copying screenshots because during the first update it'd choke on more than 30 screenshots. I'm copying 1700 and it's only going to take about 15 minutes
