I just replicated it. I had zero screenshots and no lag but as soon as I took about 10 screenshots the lag appeared. I then took about 20 more and the popit lag increased to about 3 seconds.
I then deleted them all again to try and record a video and when I hit square the game crashed... weird.

Did anyone get the Amazon DLC code to work? Mine says it's invalid.
unlocks worked for me, though I'm missing my old DLC stuff currently. I'm going to see if anything's different after restarting and I'll double check my DLC

Glad to know trigrtigr's suggestion works. He PM'd me with it earlier but I was reluctant to delete my huge collection of screens/videos. I think I'll wait for an actual fix rather than deleting everything.

Copy 'em to a USB drive then PC. I've been meaning to do that anyway, my PC + auto backups are more secure than just leaving 'em on PS4 anyway

Yeah I should have done a while ago. If my PS4 HDD ever died i would have been so choked to lose all my nice TLOU screenshots

Was hoping for better anti-aliasing since they said they can't do 60 FPS on PS4 due to the 30FPS PS3 version.

Finished the story; it's very good but there's not enough of it.
Still can't import my LBP1 stuff and those last few levels are going to be a pain to ace, since one late death means doing everything over again... bleh.

The only free theme was for preorders of the PS3 version.
The PS4 theme is $3 for everyone.
EDIT:
And nice find. Guess that's why my popit was instant; as I delete the screenshots I take after uploading. Those with problems, delete the captures from the PS4.

Well thats some bullshit right there.
I played just a little bit of this today. I noticed there seems to be a change in the way Sackboy moves through layers. I played a favorite user level that would automatically have you switch layers while in the air. I found I had to manually switch the layers while I was in the air or else I would just fall back down. Seems like that could break some levels pretty bad. Anyone else notice this?
Why? They never said the PS4 theme would be free. Heck, no PS4 theme was expected. And the PS3 theme is different.

I grabbed some of my old DLC (bioshock, tearaway), but I had to go through the "related content" section of the game tile.
There's a huge list of costumes I looked through - all my previous stuff was "free" and I hit download. When I restarted the game the costumes were in my popit.
I don't have the amazon pre-order though.

Well of I took the time to add up all the DLC for the game its probably around $200. Figured they'd throw us a bone and give us something free aside from a turkey on the head.
Still gonna get it, as long as I can read the top menu bar unlike other shitty themes. I'm looking at you Destiny and CoD.
Yeah. At the moment, the Dragon Age, and other costumes you own are in the Costumes section. Some need to be purchased for free before been used.
Theme's nice and colorful. And yeah, free would've been nice. But no biggie.

Re: Popit fix, wow that's a frustrating oversight. I'm just going to hold off until playing until they patch it. Even if I back up and delete my Capture Gallery stuff (which looks to be 32gb) I'd have enough new screenshots/videos after a day or two that it'd just start lagging again.

Popit freeze sucks. I don't want to delete my videos and screenshots. I suppose I could take the time to copy them over to my PC, but I want to edit some videos in Shareplay, so I'd have to copy them back to the PS4, edit them, upload them, then copy the Shareplay videos back to the HD before deleting everything again.
Hopefully they just release a patch for it ASAP.

I just tried removing videos only and I still had lag.
I then deleted the photos and when I went back into the game and pressed square the game crashed again. It's definitely a bug with the photos.

I've got 14 GB of videos left (numerically not many though), popit is instant. Only deleted the 1700 screenshots. If it is both screens and videos, it seems number more than filesize is relevant.
Forgot to mention that, after deleting the videos the game crafted next time I tried to open the popit (game was open while I deleted). AFTER relaunching, the popit was fine.

My fucking goodness. I would've snapped my controller in half already. That is very, VERy annoying and I'd understand marking the game down for that issue.

Okay so I go and link my account like they tell me, but all the costumes I own are grayed out in the store and won't let me download them. What am I supposed to do?

Dammit, Sackboy's borked walljumping from the beta hasn't changed. Really messes with the last level I made in LBP2.
I didn't sit through that madness last night!
Just kept restarting, reinstalling, and eventually rage quit to play Far Cry. Today, after hearing about it being a delay (not a full freeze), I let it sit.
I think you're mixing two different things.
-You link accounts to unlock content from the first 2 games, on this one. Nothing DLC related.
-For DLC you own from previous games, you need to "purchase" it in the store. Make sure it's marked as free, otherwise wait since not everything is updated. Then after that, grayed out costumes are already in the game, so you just open the popit and choose it.
Unless is a different problem. But DLC wise, not everything has made the transition, so don't freak out if you see something you own with a price.
Stuff like the launch shirts are also free, but can only be added as a bundle to the cart which shows a $5 price. So, it's a matter of waiting.

Mine was bugged out when I tried it 3 hours ago. I played for a while, then tried it 15 minutes ago and its working now. I called customer support and they were clueless, so they escalated it. Maybe they forgot to do something on their end.
Also, I haven't had any issues with lag or anything, but Ive never captured a screenshot or a vid and I left the game fully install and update before I played it.
