Namco Bandai seems to have warmed up to the Vita in the West after the unexpected success of SAO. Pirate Warriors 3 Vita has been confirmed for localization, unlike the previous game where they just did the PS3 version. I think there's good chance of God Eater 2 Vita being localized as well.

I hope they warm enough for Digimon. That would be a challenge.

I have gotten confused with samey sounding games.

There is

Stranger of the sword city; DRPG
Tokyo Twilight Hunters; VIsual Novel
Then there is Demon Gaze successor; I forgot the name.

Is that correct? Did I miss anything?

That was a licensed game. GE is their own IP. New platforms new licensing fees. Same reason we did not see OP:pW2 here.

Operation Abyss New Tokyo Legacy. Can't blame you for mixing them up, though :p.

Need to confirm:
If i bought a Plus game, Game A, it is added to my library.
What happens if the game is removed from PSN server and I decided to let my PLus membership expire for awhile (e.g. 2 days)?
Will i able to download Geme A back after i renew my membership?

I don't know that we've ever seen this happen with a ps+ game, but in theory it should still be in your download list. It really depends on how they re-apply your licenses though... but still available to dl is most likely.

Scott Pilgrim is still available on my dl list.

Fair enough, but that image is just the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Namco-Bandai these days.

Even though it was probably just an intern screwing around.

Thinking of using the discount on my EU.account for Drive Club and maybe Piers Solar.

Not sure what to get with my US account

Choosing not to engage and instead just complaining about it in here will only lead to amplification of this "Vita hate" you guys are talking about. The less people post positively about the system outside of this thread, the more it will seem like people only say negative things about it. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

That's what i always say, but i have to admit that i myself post less frequently in those threads, it's really disheartening to see how much people feel the need to hate Vita, people don't want to hear what who actually has Vita has to say or what Vita has really to offer, they just want it to fail so they stay on the haters' side no matter what(imo some of them knowing perfectly that what haters say is false), it's really pathetic if you ask me.

As i always say people that is not interested in something just ignores it, if people wants Vita to fail is because they want to gain something from it(no competition for 3ds, exclusive Sony and Japanese developers' support for PS4 and so on)

Stuff like this is bordering on paranoia. "They want it to fail because they want to gain something from it"?. You know a GAF post has zero effect on anything and literally nothing would change if you "converted" these people, right? VitaGAF cares too much about the opinion of others, whether that opinion is a just a dissenting or even an uninformed one.

Also, what Aenea said.

Their words have no effect doesn't mean they can't want something, though, and there are certainly people who are working on their desire instead of logic.

I'm just too tired to participate in such thread. The risk is too high and the result is always the same, so why bother?

I don't see why it matters that they want something (if they even express such a desire). I find it more likely that they wanted to be satisfied with the device they bought and for some reason or another weren't. In any case, you don't have to reply to anyone, you can just share your positive experience. Don't go into it with a fighting stance. I was talking about this in the chat yesterday and Fish rightly called it a 'us vs. them' mentality (and went on to condemn it) - it really is that and it's never worth the hassle.

You think so because you don't see the things in their entirety.

-How many thread about happy or angry people that bought something because of gaf have you ever seen? I saw lots of them, gaf has big influence on many gaffers.

-Internet influence is already great, when it comes to "hardcore games" the influence is even greater(think at XB1 180 for example, petitions etc)

-Vita was doomed and with no games already before the release, despite having one of the biggest launch lineup ever including Uncharted, Wipeout and so on, usually people say that a console has no games after a release with no games, not before a release with many games. The PSP was a great success(despite what haters used to said), Nintendo fanboys were afraid that the PSP successor could have been even more successful maybe dethroning Nintendo after decades of undisputed handheld domain, on the other hand PS3 owners were afraid that Sony would have shifted some of the resources previously destined to the PS3 to Vita(and that's why some PS4 owners say that Vita has no games but they desperately want Tearaway, Gravity Rush, Toukiden and so on)

-That's not just a fan thing though. What about Vita reviews? Vita exclusives are usually underrated by most sites(what we call the "Vita Tax"), reviews of Soul Sacrifice were the worst offenders, do you remember them? Some reviewers didn't finish it, other didn't play the multiplayer, others just didn't know what they were talking about. Why all of this? Everyone was incompetent? Obviously the answer is no(well usually i would say but not at this level). Then what happened? Simple, do you remember that SS was seen as a really big exclusive, the Vita savior and the Monster Hunter Killer? It's not hard to imagine that a saved Vita and Monster Hunter not being the only worthy hunting game(with the risk of losing all the MH players that were on the PSP and didn't buy a 3ds) would have hurt many interests, so with western Sony already not caring anymore for Vita was easy for certain people to pressure for negative reviews(if you think that money are used only to promote won products you are a little naive)

There's even more but now i'm annoyed, think of me that i'm paranoid if you want, but if you think that all the hate vita is getting is completely natural and without purpose you are naive.

There are surely people who just like to troll on Vita, but this happens with most of the systems out there. The main problem is that there's a lot of misinformaation about Vita, and that's why Aeana is right, but a lot of times I really can't get myself to bother posting in certain threads. I'm part of the problem, I know.

If they don't announce a western release by the time it drops, and if English subs are confirmed I'll just pull an SAO HF/LS and import.

At the end of the trailer they explicitly write "Subtitles: Traditional Chinese". Maybe there will be an Asia version with English subs later but probably not in the version which releases on the 26th of February.
I hope I am wrong though.

I really hope one day they will realize the Asia market doesn't consist of Chinese language only.

Picked up

€9.71 Citizens of Earth
€2.24 Killzone Mercenary Botzone

Opinions on Citizens of Earth seem divided, but at that price I'm willing to take the risk.

That is exactly why I haven't jumped on the pre-order just yet. SAO LS is doing something similar, they have 1 version in English and another in Chinese. Plus it drops in late February, which is kinda busy. I would be ok with a late April/May release, Feb and Mar are way too packed.

How was the first God Eater for the Psp? I'm thinking about buying that first and playing it before God Eater 2 releases here in Asia. (Please make the Asia Version with English Subs, Namco! )

Been a while since I posted in here, but I got to get something off my chest. Why is there not a search function or some kind of sort that can be done on you download list in the SEN store?? Hat to redownload some Marvel vs Capcom 3 stuff and had to spend a shit tone of time going through 50 pages to find it. What a waste of time!

Consoles need to get rid of regions altogether. They already mostly got rid of region locking, yes, but that's still not good enough.

There's no reason to segregate game localizations to specific areas of the world, they need to just fucking make one single version of the game carry all supported languages (and patch new ones as they come along). Everyone should have access to any supported language regardless of their geological location, without having to import separate versions,

The mobile market is already mostly region-agnostic, so we know it's possible.

But they need to not do it how Titanfall did with 35GB of non-optional uncompressed audio from all languages.

The concept of multiple (active/relevant) languages definitely has an expiration date in the modern age, but these things always go slow.

What you should do is search your e-mail to find out when you bought it, as the download list is sorted by date of purchase.

Quoting myself from yesterday, in case it's any help...

Have you tried PSDLE? It's a script you can run from your desktop browser which lists and sorts your download list. It can then export the list or you can even queue downloads from it now.

You can get it from:

You could ask a UK GAF member to buy you a £10 code from amazon.co.uk (digitally) and pay him with PayPal. There are sites out there which sell UK PSN codes internationally, but I can't tell you much about them.

Not sure this is wher I should ask this question but, has anyone run into the PS Now problem with Killzone 3 saying that the wireless controller is disconnected...It tells me to connect a wireless controller.

nvm, just restarted it and it works now.
