World of Warcraft |OT6| This wolf still has teeth

Ele's Echo of the Elements is out of control. I mean seriously.. that is just too much awesome.
I love it so much. It makes our AoE bursting insane with the imp. CL/Instant EQ change, and I love not having Lava Surge procs "waste" a nearly-finished Lava Burst cooldown.

One of my least favorite melee classes, personally. Stealth is fun, but the energy system isn't. I found WW to be a more fun version of the rogue in PVE. PVP is a little different.

Well it's a rogue every energy system is different of all classes. Still curious to try it though.

Frost DK in heirlooms plus a 630 2h weapon just blows things up while leveling. Literally one shot enemy mobs in Talador when I get a Killing Machine proc. I'm sure it slows down in Spires and Nagrand, but having a lot of fun with it right now.

I am thinking to boost one to 90..i have heirloom items but i do not have time to level 1 to 100 these days.

1-85 is crazy fast if you can get your hands on some of the 300% xp potions. If you use that ruby sanctum method with the potion you could probably average a level every couple minutes up to 80.

I agree, having just done it, it is definitely a little more difficult than it should be given the relative ease of everything to come before it.
Feels easier than Imperator LFR though.

I did have some problem with one vocal tank who insisted that tanks stand in opposite spots, leading to us getting one-shotted by stone fist.

Delivery. It's a physical card in a DVD case.

Any idea if these cards will work if I get to pay in euros instead of pounds if when I subscribe on battle net ? I live in Israel

It says 80 pounds (with delivery) for 6 cards which would last a full year, and would be great if I want to take breaks in-between and not subscribe for a full year and have months of in-activity if I need to take a break

Edit: Spoke to support, they said if they're actual game time they will work in any EU account, but if they're balance cards they will be in pounds and won't work
It says the seller only has 5 cards, so I can't buy a full year's worth of game time.. think I'll just pass on this

Leveled my hunter from 24 to 36. Fucking hell, that took a while.

To be honest, I'm gonna boost my alts once I get to 60 cause I'm not in the mood to level them (especially my warrior alt) on Outland, Northrend, Cata, and MoP.

Don't get me wrong, leveling is cool and all, but it's not something I'd like to do it over and over and over again. >_>

On the same boat really boosted a lot of alts several times now and yes i paid for it and really i do not mind i am happy with it also glad that it's a option you can use look for new players it is great but i can't do it anymore all the content again and again i know how it feels. Like i said i do not have the time for it i still have my druid that i have to do from level 74 but i am going to that normally not with a boost since i have heirloom on him. Heirloom items are cool even potions are cool to have but i just hate the drag now >.>

Finally sold my glorious legplates for 47k via trade

I picked them up for 5.5k on the auction house a week or two ago, so pretty good profit ;p
They are actually worth way more (depending on the server), but it was a pain to try and sell them on the trade chat, and they are so rare I don't think most people bother to even look them up on the auction house

I left myself with something like 70 crates of salvage that I couldn't be assed to open because I had minimal inventory space.

There could be anything in there, there could even be a boat!

And I still own a Chan's Imperial Robes which is/was one of the most expensive transmog pieces at 200k+ that I snagged for less than 10g.

I want to switch from DPS to healing, so I went ahead and set Holy as my alternate spec, got some gear, and holy fuck, I am lost. Back in the day I was one of the top paladin healers using a handful of spells and relying on constant flash of lights. Now it's like playing a RTS. Or at least it feels that way. I guess I'll have to do the time in normal dungeons learning the basic mechanics, then slowly move up. Which is fine. I am not really enjoying the latest round of bosses and my ret spec is already at 664 - more than enough for someone who mostly sticks to LFR.

probably a full vanguard and glorious set

My greens have barely been selling on my server. :( Stupid low population...

I'm on a high pop server and it still takes several relistings to sell. That's the green transmog market. It's more like Antiques Road Show than Pawn Stars.

Like I just sold a Masterwork Girdle for 600. But I'm sitting on tons 200+ other greens that haven't sold. No one will ever say, 'I gotta move some transmog gear fast'

Called our raid early because our tank was too drunk.

Did some Siege of Orgrimmar with 3 friends yesterday. Turns out every boss only dropped between 0 and 1 items and just 9 gold per person. Is this the it's intended to be? Too bad cata raids are just laughable now with the extreme damage scaling, but doing panda raids without rewards is worse

If you did 'normal', it's the old flex mode ie personal loot. You have to do heroic.

Anywhere cheaper to get Warlords of Draenor currently than the site?
Thinking of coming back after a few years, and having to buy the expansion plus time so trying to make the initial hit as small as possible.

Probably not. The game is selling well so I think the only deals you will find would be a general B1G1 or something at a retail store.

I doubt you fill find the game cheaper that normal price, but I will gladly do recruit a friend for you. If you do 2 months, I get 1 free month and the mount. I will happily give you the free month since I really want the mount.

Ok. I resubbed. Should I just stick with my 85 hunter and practice a rotation on targeting dummies until I figure it out again or re-lvl another hunter? At the start of oandaria

If someone was totally new to WoW what's the best way to buy the game and be all up to date? Is it even worth it at this point? I feel joining an MMO 10+ years into it is pretty damn overwhelming.

You'll be fine. They made Hunter rotations even less complicated.

Someone here or a friend could 'recruit' you and you both get bonus exp when leveling together. It's a good way to try out the game. It's not too late to join, it's a very beginner friendly game

You still get a level 90 boost included with WoD so there's no actual 'catching up' to do until they want to level an alt. And yeah, Recruit A Friend is triple exp on top of that so you should be able to get that friend's level up insanely fast.

Its so nice to have gold to spend when switching to an alt, already got my hunter to 624 without doing much ;p

Got some good deals

Mythic Grips of Vicious Mauling - 16,588K
Heroic Treads of The Veteran Smith - 10K

Also bought the engineered helm and gun, and upgraded the gun to 660 for 20K
I have engineering myself, so I'll craft the 670 upgrade in time.. no need to rush it right now

Nice. I haven't actively played since like early 2012 so I've basically forgotten everything about rotations and what I should be doing lol

Yeah, basically it is just saying there are non-subscription based options. Basically talking about the token system but in the most misleading tweet ever.
Ah, okay, that makes sense. Definitely a funny way to word that tweet :lol

I haven't played like two months now and my sub lapsed in early February, but seeing all this news about the Token system reminded me that I'm already feeling the itch to resub.

That is quite interesting. I just checked a gold selling site, and 20k is going for $18 on my server. I have no idea what the market is, but if 15-20k gold = 1 month of play time, I can easily play for free and still put away a ton of money. I look forward to seeing how this plays out.

I was wondering if they had scrapped this when it wasn't in the 6.1 patch notes.

I might be done paying real money for my WoW sub depending on how much the tokens cost. 15k I would easily do, I make more than that weekly.

Seems like WoW won't have a subscription according to this polygon article which apparently has broken the site: link to tweet - https://twitter.com/Polygon/status/572456377861451776

Clickbait title.

It def still has a subscription you can just get other players to pay it for you.

Yep. You also need to be currently subscribed to make use of the system in the first place. But I guess if they still use that redemption trial type thingie then perhaps that would work. I am referring to the way they used to (or still do) let you invite a friend back to play on their account for like a week or 2 of free time.

I personally was interested in just playing the game some without subscription. Not really interested in trying to grind my way to free time monthly. That is the exact opposite of what I am looking for, in fact.

It's a neat system, but not for everyone and that dumb clickbait headline misleads people.

Clickbait = modern journalism though...

I really need a price for what a token will go for before I know whether I like it or not.

15k = cool, I can now play WoW for free

50k = pointless, dumb and will just make gold sellers appear like a much more attractive option for people who are willing to pay irl money for gold.
