Xenoblade is not an action rpg. That would be like saying chrono trigger was an action rpg, because the enemies moved in real time, and the player party was always in different formations compared to games like final fantasy.

... Its almost like there were some of the same people behind the two games battle systems and they are actually prretty similar.... oh wait, there were and... they are.
