Anyone find it strange that, In this day and age, where customization is rife in games and people love it, Underground didn't happen sooner ?

Yeah, it has been really strange. People having been begging for customization to return to NFS for years, and they just kept ignoring us. My only guess is that Criterion didn't want to do anything with customization, and since they had been in charge of the brand for years what they wanted is what happened.

This better not be some lame exotic car modding game like every other NFS made ever in the past few years. What made Underground wonderful was that it has a car list made up of actual tuner cars, crapboxes that people actually mod and japanese powerhouses with some american muscle in the mix.

If this is just another Porsche/Lamborghini/koenisegsgsgdg/ferrari give an exotic supercar some dumb bodykit and chromed wheels game Im out.

you tried driveclub ? Seeing the water move around your windshield under the force of G when you brake or take corners or just being pushed away by your wipers is amazing.

It will be 30fps. It's EA afterall and the Need for Speed serie has always been 30fps. Yeah it sucks because i also wish all racing games were 60fps but it is what it is. I miss a good 60fps arcade racer like Burnout or Ridge Racer.

Yeah it's a bummer but i am also fortunate enough to have a PC that can run it at 60fps.

I will still get it on PS4 or X1 as well because friends.

I did learn one thing from that Reddit link, which is that Honda apparently doesn't allow their cars to appear in games that involve police chases. Given how popular Honda's are in the modding seem, that would seem reason enough to keep cops out of the series.

Is this a new thing? Honda were in The Getaway series on PS2.
