I like the stuff they are doing with Gina and Holt. "Linetti, Set, Go!" made me laugh, she is great on this series. Hopefully they get a few more fun out of the office episodes to play around with before they are bought back to status quo.

I wonder if Diaz and her never-present love interest are still together this season or if they will quietly write that off, I don't think anyone cared much about that whole plot-line last season (except in that it made the Boyle/Diaz stuff a bit more bearable maybe?)

I hope so because I can't stand Nick Cannon.

Thought Hader would have longer stint. The stuff with his character was not funny so maybe it if for the best. Braugher remains great.

Gina is my third favourite character after Captain Holt and Jake. I know she took some getting used to at the start, but Chelsea Peretti just owns her role so well.

Good premiere. Kind of liked the Jake and Amy stuff which surprised me. I thought I would love the Header character but I didn't, so I'm not torn up about the character's passing.

I liked Hader's character, but I think I'd be down on him if he continued past this episode. He was super cartoony, almost like a 30 Rock character, which kind of clashes with B99's vibe but I think works for the small dose he appeared for

The Vulture as the new captain for a bit should be amazing though

...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
Yeah, that was pretty hilarious. And the OT title needs to be changed in honor of Dennis Duffy as our new Captain.

And if someone doesn't get this one, I feel sorry for you

The new
dead
captain was great. I laughed so much at the opening scene. :D

And, oh man, Rosa looks even hotter than last season.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Are we watching the same show? That was incredibly underwhelming. Very few laughs.

Loved that Hader being the new captain was such a focus leading up to the season and he got killed off in the damn premiere.

Same here. I wasn't keen on Hader joining the cast so it pleased me to see his character killed off so quickly.

That was incredibly underwhelming. Very few laughs.

I thought so too. Despite a few chuckles here and there, it seemed to continue the tepid steak they established last season.

That was an ok episode. I love Hader but it's a good thing he's not sticking around. That was not a good fit.

Hader could have been great. I think the fact his tenure was only an episode, he went for that kind of performance.

I'm kind of rooting for him to have a twin brother on the force for the finale.

Ironically I had just asked my fiance during the show if Hader would be on it all season and then he had the heart attack haha

New episode today:
Season 3: episode 2 "The Funeral"

The Nine-Nine gets another personnel change that could put Jake and Amy's budding relationship at risk. Meanwhile, Terry assists Holt with an important public relations matter, and Rosa and Gina try to convince Charles to rethink his affection for a fellow officer.

I hope I'm not starting to dislike this show. The second episode was ok again. Maybe it's getting too far away from them going out and doing detective things. I am just finding it more and more difficult to suspend disbelief. I can't tell if it's the show's fault or mine.

Enjoyed the episode but the show is suffering from lack of Holt and Gina @ the 99.

I hope they rid of the Vulture next episode so we can go back to the 99 doing what the 99 does best.

I felt this way about the Wunch-Holt conflict in S2, and the eps in S3 have reinforced it considerably: a lot of the stories are just plain old work-place bullying and mild police corruption. It's not that you can't get comedy out of those situations but B99 doesn't seem to really try and gets jokes from the attempts to overcome it.

Liked that worse than the premiere, was similarly funny for me (especially Holt and Terry) but the structure of each story was shoddy as hell. especially the way the Holt/Jake+Amy A&B stories converged.
