I think the most underrated feature is blocking broadcastersin the live from playstation app

Only problem, I don't know if it's a coincidence, is that my profile in Street Fighter 5 is stucked, when I fight online it shows the right level and LP, but in the main screen next to the name, not anymore, it also says that I haven't logged in since 1906 LOL.

You can actually select which friends you want to be notified if they get online.
There is a option to "select all", but are all currently available, not all in "new friends also included". Think it will be added.

Yep! Seeing the message in the notification is a godsend!

I signed up and then gave the link to my friend - he got in and not me. Huge bummer because we both use shareplay every night and if he upgrades, we won't be able to shareplay anymore.

Yeah, it actually warns you about this in the invitation e-mail or somewhere.

But did someone above mention they're getting better speeds on the new firmware, or were they talking about something else? This could be greatly beneficial for shareplay, which can run badly if both players aren't hardwired (in which case it runs amazingly.)

edit: Does anyone know if last beta had invites go out after first day, or was there only one wave? Dunno if I should hold my breath for getting an invite..

The beta killed TMacDev's Remote Play PC with new encryption keys. What a shame, because once it comes out, there's gonna be no point in using anything but the official version if they implement KBM support.

Was USB Music Player there before? I always used the Media Player didn't notice that USB Music Player app until today (I don't keep my harddrive connected to the PS4 I mostly just stream from the computer so maybe that's why I never seen it) I remember people talking about it so did they take it away then brought it back with the FW update?

Has always been there, it used to be stand alone, but once he media player became active the music player fell under the media player.

They're functionally different, which is why the distinction and them returning it would be important.

Guess I'll revert back to 3.15 for now...

Go to System Software Update, like normal update. There will be an option for the beta

You must have a magic PS4. If a disc game is in the drive, it always reads the disc on boot up, or back from stand by, which pushes it in the front of the list.

Alright, just to prove I'm not totally crazy. I have Call of Duty III currently in my PS4, and it's been in there since the weekend at least. Since I last played it, I've used other things (SFV, Media player, something else). When I'm done, I always put my PS4 into sleep mode.

Turned my PS4 on today to play some SFV, and the disc absolutely did not read, and CODIII absolutely did not move up to the front of the list.

It doesnt happen booting from rest mode, especially if a game is suspended. It will happen after a cold boot.

For some reason I seem to recall beta people having problems with matchmaking with other people who weren't on beta firmware but I'm not too sure.

Before, you could only share everyone's voice in a party if you were Broadcasting. Pretty big news for me. My friend and I have a lot of stupid moments we've been wanting to save/share on Spelunky, and other games.
