Yes, kind of random but... i had good times with the japanese version of the game, i love the original japanese dub and the main theme, because you know... -insert your what i am fighting for meme here-

She was 51, breast cancer. She was much more famous as Sora in Digimon and Sakura in Chibi Maruko-chan. Rest in Peace.

EDIT: Of course i know her work on anime was much more important, but this is NeoGAF, and i prefer a game-centric title for this case.

Damn. I played the Japanese version of the game several times and enjoyed the voice acting.

Never played X4 in Japanese, but very sad to hear this in any case.

Apparently she voiced Minnie in the Kingdom Hearts games as well.

Man this is so sad. I mostly know her as Excellen Browning but she's done so much stuff and had a fairly long career. RIP

Oh my god... I know her primarily from playing Excellen Browning, one of the leads in the Super Robot Wars games along with a myriad of sub-characters, and it's getting a new game in a month...

It'll be her last piece then...That's so sad...She brought so much energy and fun to her work. I'd listen to some of the interviews with her and cast members back in the day and she sounded like she genuinely loved her job.

I have really fond memories of MMX4 as well, so this is quite sad news. To reiterate what others have already said: fuck cancer! :(

Man, I watched the Mihoshi Special for Tenchi in JP first, I love Mihoshi's Japanese voice :( Always sad to hear that a Seiyuu I've heard all over the place for years has died. Even if I don't perfectly understand Japanese language, you can definitely tell the passion and specific character they bring to a role.

Man, she was also Chocolate Misu in Sorcerer Hunters :( Thanks providing so many memorable moments in my early days of DVD collecting! That's when I watched EVERYTHING I purchased in Subs and Dubs back-to-back, comparing the vocal and translation chops against each other ...

Alway sad to hear. Cancer is a horrible and dehumanizing illness.

Glad Miss Yuko Mizutani was able to entertain a large group of folks who played her games.

X4 was what got me into megaman (even tho it was unbeatable for me at my younger ages where I'd didn't have patience).

I should really go back and play that again just to hear her there. :( That is the memory I have of her voice.

Only if TOEI has already animated everything which could be because they at first it was a normal series, but I don't really think so, but didn't they recast everyone?

RIP! Only knew you for Sora though :(

Very sad. Her Sora and Excellen are her most memorable roles for me, but I completely forgot she was Iris, too.

My condolences to her friends and loved ones.
