I think it should just be called "Xbox" since it seems they're planning forwards and backwards compatibility here on out. The more expensive one has better graphics and framerate. The cheaper one(s) still play(s) all the same games.

If you're going to do backwards and forwards software comparability, you'd need a naming scheme that's easy for consumers to understand. So 10 years from now, a game could say "requires Xbox 2 or better".

On second thought Xbox Scorpio sounds cool. We all love codenames. Remember when Kinect was Project Natal, Vita was NGP, PS4 was Orbis and Xbox One was Durango.
