Is there an actual bonus to it? I usually do it, but have never seen a "curveball bonus". Also, the difference between a "nice" throw and a regular one? No clue.
Nice gives 10 xp
Curveball gives 10xp
Great throw gives 50xp

Any way to tell how to actually do these throws? Seems random to me.
I don't remotely buy that rumor, and I mean that even for an account ban, let alone a device ban. I can see them resetting everyone to 0 when they launch globally.Wh would they ban the most excited customers who are potentially the ones that will drop money on their app before most others? Not buying that.
If you think Niantic or the Pokémon company is some kind of autonomous entity I have a bridge to sell you.
From what I read: Use your index finger (not your thumb). You're trying to hit the green circle, the smaller it is when you do so means the more bonus XP you get. If you're playing with the AR Camera on, the angle you're tilting your phone at can affect the throw.Any way to tell how to actually do these throws? Seems random to me.
Curve balls have you using your finger to make quick circles with the pokeball right before you throw. You'll see it do kind of a whirling effect while its still in your hand.Any way to tell how to actually do these throws? Seems random to me.
Bout to go on an adventure on my bike and see what I can find. Will report back.

There's also some way to toss a curveball but I don't really have a clue.
Held out as long as my willpower allowed, grabbed the APK and it all seems to be working fine so far as I can tell.
Got my Squirtle and a Rattata. The battery drain is laughable. I knew getting one of the few phones this generation with a removable battery as well as a giant external charger would pay off. 8)
Speaking of which, there's a "Battery Saver" in the options that defaults unchecked, anyone have a clue what it does?

Greeeeeat, it's still not available in my country apparently (Canada)
Still incompatible. Looks like the culprit is that I'm a half GB short of the minimum memory, fuck.
I'm in the US but I'm not seeing the App Store version up yet. On the other hand, I can get on the game server just fine, although I'm done for the day so I can't actually go anywhere right now.
Blegh, I meant to say the Google Play Store I'm still not seeing it available. I have the APK though so I'll just check periodically. Its in the App store in US
