Pokémon Go is live on the Google Play Store

I'm in South Korea. There is a permanent loading white pokeball symbol on the top left and nothing on the world map (no pokestops or pokemons). Tries creating another account with another email and after tutorial it's the same

I get the same thing in Hong Kong. I wonder if they haven't switched it on for these regions yet. Which is super disappointing, because Ingress works just fine out here...

I've claimed the gym at the community college across the street. I also found an egg at the veteran's graveyard down the street :p

I made my character, named him, and chose my first "starter" Pokemon. I also caught a Pidgey sitting here at my desk. Now I don't see anything else showing up to catch yet. Looks like there's stuff all over my town though.

Will new Pokemon eventually be catchable at my current location again or once you catch one is it gone forever?

I live on the border between my town and a very rural county. My neighborhood didn't even exist a couple of years ago... so the nearest landmark for me is several miles away.

At least there are a few around the building I work in.

What kind of features would you like to see added to the game in the future?

I'm just spitballing, didn't think these through all that well, but I feel like there's a way to take something out of my ideas and flesh them out. I'm trying to think of other things rather than just the ability to battle wild pokemon, pvp, etc...

-Maybe you could set a home base on your map (which would most beneficially just be where you live) and gain some value form that. Like maybe you can have some amount of your pokemon set to patrol the general area, passively getting some sort of exp to some extent.

-Be able to add friends, and for close friends who are willing to enable it (like RL friends), be able to have their home base marked on the map, and have some kind of interactive benefits from that.

-If you have your pokemon set up at a gym, and someone else wants to battle, maybe have a 'x' second grace period in able for it to notify your phone, and if you get to your phone in time while at your house or something, you can fight him directly in PvP rather than him fighting the cpu pokemon.

-Notify you when another player is around your home base. Maybe they can give you the ability to battle the person (cpu or otherwise) if you are near their home base?

So can I not just fight wild pokemon? The rattata on my keyboard seems to be infinite spawn. I caught one already but now I have no use for more.

It's finally appearing in the Play store when I search for it now, but when I click it still says unavailable in the US.

If I'm not mistaken, duplicates can be exchanged for items through Prof Oak.

You can transfer the extras to the Professor and you get candy which you use to level and evolve said breed.

Catching more of the same pokemon is actually useful - you get more EXP, Stardust, etc. and you can just release the pokemon (or transfer as its called) and get more candy.

Sorry if this was answered before.
In order to hatch an egg, what exactly I need to do with my phone? I really need to walk 2KM with it on my hand, can't put it on somewhere else (like a pocket)?

Boooo. It requires iOS 9.2. I'm on 8.4, and I don't wanna lose my jailbreak. :(

Edit: wait, I just checked again and now the requirement is at ios8+. Weird. Downloading now.

-Friends List and being able to compare stats with your friends
-Proper PvP with TMs and HMs
-Not having to have the app up the whole time so a proper notification system telling you when pokemon and new pokestops/gyms are near by
-I haven't failed catching a pokemon in the sense of my pokeball breaking yet so I have no idea if that's a thing but if it is or will be adding things like great balls and ultra balls
-More customization to your avatar
-Ability to submit location ideas for pokestops and gyms. This is a thing they have setup for Ingress and I have no idea if that's a thing for Pokemon Go yet.

Heh, there's literally a PokeStop right by where I live. Didn't even have to leave the house to claim the goodies. Wonder how often I can claim items from it...

just use the expansion pak

:lol

So, given an invisible ToS pop-up and the inability to download from the PlayStore, I reinstalled the apk and I just smashed that fuck out of that invisible likeaccept, going only by sound. And it worked!

Got in, played for a while. GPS is woefully inaccurate, compared to ingress, but it does look nice. Also, having only 1.5BG to work with results in some seriously sick batter drain (I think I lost 40% of my charge in like 40 min, lol) and I ended up walking around with essentially fucking nuclear furnace in my hand.

But it seems fun, I'll play more. Gotta a bunch of early pokes and an egg!
