Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection - Announcement Trailer

I dunno. I'd love to replay 2 and Revelations again. Well, if 2 got a level replay patched in.

I think I might skip this. The movie is gonna be the main AC event this year. Besides, I know EscoBlades has my ticket already.

Right?

Right?

With the games coming out in the next few months, this trilogy is going to be on the waiting list. Will look for the reviews if it turns out good to recommend it to people if it's cheap. Poor rerelease of the game looking at the trailer however.

I think my memories of AC2 and Brotherhood fooled me, I didn't remember them looking so ugly. Guess I'm not bothering with these since they are still at 30 fps and apparently no work has been done to make them look decent enough in new hardware, and no, I'm not expecting a remake.

November 15th? Isn't that when Watch Dogs 2 releases? Seems like an odd date.

I wouldn't mind replaying the games again, so I might pick this up for a decent price around Black Friday hopefully.

Emmm, expected a bit more to be honest but I guess the game will be worth it if only for the people that have not played the DLC segments of each game which are really good for the most part.

Regardless of any visual improvements, I am all over this. I won't buy it for $60, but I definitely will once it hits the $30-$40 price range.

I'll finally be able to get 1000/1000 in Brotherhood and Revelations now that the multiplayer achievements should be gone. AC2 will just be my third damn time of getting everything, 4th or 5th time playing the game.

I like how it shows a render for ezio in ac2 and not like a pic of fassbender ruining his career

No multiplayer :(
That's fine. It was cool the first go, but the additions in each installment were so minimal I didn't understand why they kept bothering.
... Does nobody like Altair?
Love the guy. Glad he came back in Revelations, even if it was just book excerpts turned into gameplay (not complaining, though).

Easy there.

Bargain bin. No upgrades, 30fps. I expect at least the tearing issues will be resolved but still. And the cover art is awful compared to the leaked promo poster

Yeeeaahhh I was kind of hoping for more of a remaster with better textures and less of a 1080p port so I'll be passing on these.

I liked the games back in the day, but I honestly have little interest in revisiting them. I don't think Ezio's journey or story was anywhere near as epic or memorable as they're trying to make out.

Open World games on current gen console CPU's and 60 FPS probably aren't going to go together. This is probably close to the old PC version detail levels at 1080p 30. Which sounds in line with what to expect.

I finally played Rogue recently on PC, was always hoping for a PS4 remaster but gave up. Its... not that good. I like to think of it as AC4, but with the Carribean replaced by Canada, the pirates replaced by Canadians, and the redcoats replaced by The French. Soooo... yeah.

I mean its worth a play through for any AC fan, but it was pretty boring and has all the usual AC flaws without anything really that interesting going for it.

Its too bad this trilogy is kinda weak, I mean I'll probably pick it up when its $10-15 digitally - 3 or 4 months after release - and I'm sure it'll be fun, but it looks like the remaster with the least amount of effort to date.

I actually played it on PS3 and quite enjoyed it, though it was more or less a streamlined AC4

The lack of eavesdropping missions put it a notch above AC4 in my opinion, still, I think in 2016 it will play better than the Ezio games, so it's strange how they've left it
for the Remastered Americas Trilogy coming Holiday 2018

Wasn't this supposed to get upgraded textures and animations?

This is pretty unfortunate, all things considered. Would've been sweet if the games got the proper remaster treatment, but perhaps that's too big a task considering it's three games and all.

It's a bit of a bummer because even the BioShock Remaster, which is already a clear-cut cash grab, even added 60fps across all games and an interview cut up across the first game. :(

The people complaining about the lack of multiplayer surprise me. It was fun in the beginning until everyone started running around like idiots which defeated the entire purpose of the multiplayer.

What's wrong with it? Played through it last year and it seemed fine. Shadow draw distance was shit but eh.

The draw distance—not just for shadows but for everything—is complete crap and very distracting.

I've tried to play the game tons of times but I always stop a few hours in because I can't get past this. :(
