DC People started to follow Armie Hammer, possible Green Lantern?

Yes because what we need is more handsome statuesq white men who can't act anchoring more of their movies.

Get good actors, not just people who look good.

And for the love of god, don't do Hal Jordan, your cinematic universe is already set up to have Kyle Rayner.

There was a time when sizemore seemed like he was being shoved in every war flick no doubt haha

Still he's all good with me after that epic stare he gives in Heat

I always thought if Arnie Hammer would end up in a DC movie it'd be as Booster Gold.

Booster Gold and Shazam were the popular two. If he ends up as Hal, maybe he's "Hal" in name only.

Armie is a fine actor but he's most fun as a self deprecating jackass. He'd be better as Guy than Hal if he had to be a GL.

The generic white guy that is hot that year is always like that. I thought the dude from the office was going to be the next one, until he went on that rant about people not seeing his Benghazi movie.

I really fail to see how this guy is worse than Hemsworth or Evans.

Hemsworth has 2 problems, can't carry a movie and he blurs together with his brother. Like people confuse the two more than the Olsen Twins. But I think he learning to exercise his comedy chops, he was the one bright spot in that fucking Vacation movie.

didn't work for her!

Armie Hammer is talented.

Invalid comparison. A significant part of that woman's downfall was her being terrible to people she worked with.

The way she threw the writers for Grey under the bus is legendary. I love Shonda for not taking no shit. She will work with you if you are a little weird but if you out there REALLY fucking up, she will eat your soul. Ask Isaiah Washington and Patrick Demphsey

They can't really afford to go with just hal again. If he is a green Lantern I think there will be like 2 of them in Justice League and maybe more in their own film as the major characters

He was almost Captain America.

And Armie Hammer is just....eh.

He needs Sinestro who doesn't turn evil at the end of the first movie. I'm talking like, a 3 movie arc for him turning so he has somebody to at least play off as a mentor/friend who can provide personality.

Either that or just do Rayner and make Hal a side character.

Last I heard of Isaiah Washington, he was fan casting himself as Black Manta.

He's going into directing and producing as well. I'm sure that has more to do with it than whatever you just brought up.

His last movie didn't do so great, though.

IF this is true: Arnie Hammer being the best they can get speaks volumes about the state of the DCEU.

And FFS sake just make the GL Stewart already.

Making a Cyborg movie says more

Right. I don't understand DC's current infatuation with this character. From C-list to the most boring guy on the Teen Titans to now a founding member of the JLA with his own movie. WTF?

Chris Evans was doing good projects and a lot of smaller but cool action films and sci fi stuff before he got tapped for Captain America.

I think Hammer's problem is that he seems to only really be doing big stuff instead of filling gaps with smaller projects. Chris Evans does more work in small movies even now that he's busy being Captain America than Hammer does now when he's just going from role to role.

Chris Evans is just hardworking and actorly as fuck. He seems to genuinely enjoy acting rather than trying to be a "star" per se and hence he picks great projects.

A lot is pushing. His only good project before Cap was Sunshine, and maybe Scott Pilgrim.

I liked him in The Social Network because his persona fit with the mood of the movie. Haven't seen him in too much else, but I like to keep an open mind.

Why can't we get a Stewart GL though.

We'll find out soon. The long road of Tyrese vying for John Stewart is nearing its end.

I am laughing so hard I am crying. He has put in the work like no one else. He is the second highest grossing actor in Hollywood. Add up Transformers and the FF movies

Tyrese.

The dude who dropped Nobody Else.

Dude's agent must thank Jesus every day for Bay and Vin Diesel.

Honestly, if you're doing GL, I'd pull Jensen Ackles as Guy and Mahershala Ali as Stewart.

The latter is so damn charismatic, he could bring some shine to Stewart. Get back at Marvel for cutting his shine short.

Armie Hammer? He would've been good as Steve "Vanilla" Trevor. Hawkman or Green Arrow. Batman-specific? Probably a villain then: Red Hood or Hush.

Hmm. Jensen as Guy Gardner? I can see it. Lovable and awesome asshole.

Armie Hammer was good in Birth of a Nation too he's definitely talented.

Mahershala Ali on the come up for sure. Dude seems like he's clinched for best supporting nomination this year as well.
Yeah he was my favorite part about Luke Cage glad to see a Bay Area brotha succeed in Hollywood.

I love Mahershala in Luke Cage (pretty much the only good part of it honestly) and him as Remi in House of Cards but I can't see him being like the cartoon Stewart, which is the only version I know and whom I'd love to see a movie of. Mahershala doesn't seem to have the imposing nature of Stewart's physique, like I can't see this guy fighting he looks more like a schemer which was exactly his role in Luke Cage.
