I'm not sure that evolutions work with battle weather, though.
They didn't in XY/ORAS and I haven't seen anything to suggest that has changed.

And nearly 300 eggs later...
i hate this fish so much now.
Thank you!Congrats! Were you running with the shiny charm? Or was it hatched without it?
You only need to fill the Alola dex for the shiny charm, and you don't have to trade away a unique pokemon to get Lunala. For whatever reason, Trubbish of all Pokemon seems to be shit hot on the GTS and can get you legendaries.Somehow I got a shiny Dhelmise after about 6 eggs, no shiny charm but using the masuda method. My first shiny of the generation.
I'd love the charm but it's a way off til the Bank is up and running for SuMo. And I need a way to get hold of Lunala without losing one of my unique Pokemon so I can keep my living Pokedex up to date.

Heh, sounds like me. I was enjoying it until they went "here's the breeding house" at which point my game has ground a screeching halt for a week or so as I bred stuff and EV trained my new mons.It sounds like you are having a pleasant time. I'm still trying to figure out what team I want to finish the game with. That and realizing I've side-tracked my progress with over 60 hours of breeding. At least I have some well bred Pokemon to work with.
Haven't used it myself, but I never had the AI miss when using it. One move that gave me some trouble is Play Rough. It has 90% effectivity, but my Mimikyu once missed 3 times in a row, so I feel your pain. The more i play this game, the more I hate stone edge. I swear it misses like 80% of the time for me. Has cost me so many games.
Where did you get that Mimikyu hates Pikachu? I thought he was a fan. And I think he hides his true form because he's horrible and people get scared when looking at him.Mimikyu Theory Time
Its already known that it dons a Pikachu mask for 3 reasons:
1) It needs to hide its true form as seeing it can apparently kill
2) It noticed that Pikachu was the most beloved pokemon and has tremendous marketing and in an effort to not be lonely it pretends to be it
3) It hates pikachu and has a resentment towards it, why is unknown
So what pokemon could hate pikachu? And even though pikachu is popular certainly its not nearly as popular in Alola?
Its a Fairy/Ghost pokemon. There's another theory, a much older one....Gengar is the shadow of Clefairy or the ghost it becomes after death. A ghost and a fairy....Not to mention that Clefairy was at one point supposed to be the mascot of the series and not Pikachu. However Pikachu won the bigger appeal and got to be in the anime leaving Clefairy not even relegated to sidekick but ignored entirely. That has to hurt.
So then why aren't there mimikyu in Kanto? Fairy wasn't a type at the time and was undiscovered yet who knows if mimikyu even donned the pikachu cloth until much later. Perhaps Mimikyu has been in kanto but its disguise was poor and those who saw it simply couldn't understand it as if it were a lovecraftian monster. All they saw was....a missingno.
UB-06 Glitch. I like how that sounds.... Okay, so yo. I still want Missingno to be added as a late Ultra Beast in Stars, especially if, but I'm willing to accept this as canon. I can't get Ridley in Smash 1 of the 3 Freddie Mercury-esque Street Fighters in V (Let alone the trifecta), but at least this can give me the comfortable feeling that one of my weird game wishes came true (Missingno being a legit Pokemon).we go to Kanto
I went 252 atk, 100 HP, 152 spd with adamant.Hey, does anyone have a good move-set for Silvally? Also, I wanna EV train him, so what stats would be good to focus on? I know he's pretty neutral, but I honestly don't know how best to use him.
Thanks!
It's not too bad when doing it in the background and focusing on something else, like watching a movie. You Shiny hunters have the patience of saints.
I will never mess around with that shit lol.

Not sure if this will work.I'm trying to get a Smeargle with Memento but can't figure out how to since Sketch fails when the Memento user faints.
Any suggestion?
tell me pokemon isn't an elabprate puzzle gameFound a workaround to Sketch Self-Destruct onto Smeargle without double battles.
1. False Swipe a wild Smeargle, wild Smeargle learns False Swipe
2. Switch out to a Pokemon with Skill Swap
3. Skill Swap a fresh SOS Smeargle
4. Switch out to a Pokemon with Damp, SOS Smeargle gets Damp
5. Switch out to a Pokemon with Entrainment, Entrainment Pokemon gets Damp
6. Entrainment on False Swipe Smeargle, False Swipe Smeargle gets Damp
7. Switch out to a Pokemon with Self-Destruct
8. KO the Skill Swap Smeargle
9. Fresh SOS Smeargle learns Self-Destruct
10. Swap in own Smeargle and Sketch Self-Destruct

Ayy you (finally) got it! Didn't know shiny Feebas was that color, looks kinda cool. And nearly 300 eggs later...

I think not, but even if that was the case, the code doesn't expire. So feel free to take your time and grab it once you're done!I just started Moon and finishing the demo just now.
This game looks spectacular so far.
Gotta ask, because there is no way I am finishing the game for a while, does the Mangearna QR code thing require an internet connection? I cannot guarantee I will have a connection or that I will even finish the game this month if it has an expiration date.
Oh I see. I didn't want to know that, I'd rather believe he was a big fan ofIn the anime, Mimikyu hates Pikachu so much, the stuff it says about Pikachu make Meowth nervous because of how dark it is. Meowth doesn't want to translate what Mimikyu is saying about Pikachu.
Not too much of a difference, but I prefer the regular non-shiny Milotic. You should see shiny Milotic. I not the kind to grind for shinies, but...

I'm kind of struggling to have a team to play through with in all honesty. I always have in each entry though
Main issue is that the pokemon I like tend to fall into a very narrow band of types making having good coverage very difficult (It's always irked me that they don't mix up the visuals between types a bit more, though I'm glad S&M has dabbled with this a bit at least.) Interestingly, outside of salazzle (corruption is a pain in the rear), this has only been a problem in terms of killing stuff rather than surviving.
My favourite is my eviolite-carrying Mareanie, Vita. Love her to bits and if I didn't think Toxapex was a hideous visual downgrade I probably could've evolved her, given her a more supporting item and retired the rest of my team outside of a dummy armed with u-turn to switch with to make use of regenerator
I've been having fun with Tsareena too though. When I first fought a Golispod I just threw her out and cackled as queenly majesty shut it down.
I have a completely seperate 'capture team' I love too but I keep them apart from my 'story team' due to all the typing overlap and how hideously overlevelled they get from all the xp gained while doing SOS chains. It mostly consists of a Lurantis (false swiper, plus the contrary ability makes all the attempted debuffs many mons throw out hilarious) and Sylveon (cute charm to get females plus has skill switch to check for abililties), sometimes with support from a rockruff (odor sleuth to open up ghosts to false swipe)
Golurk's not evil...It wouldn't be a Ghost Pokemon without being extremely dark and a little evil. They all are.
Oh my god shiny breeding is so much easier now.
With Tauros charge it takes 6-10 seconds sliding left to right on the doorway of the nursery next to the egg giver before she has another egg. Because you no longer require a free party slot they go straight to your box if your party is full. It's taking me roughly 2-3 minutes combined wall sliding to hatch 5 pokemon at a time and because she delivers eggs at a much faster rate than pokemon themselves hatch I can split hatching sessions between wall sliding or wall sliding + egg collecting. The only load times I ever have to wait for are when I actually enter the nursery to swap pokemon with eggs in the box then its immediately back to wall sliding since apparently any forward momentum is counted toward steps even if you're only physically moving up and down like 7 steps at a time.
:edit:
Just did an actual timed test. took 1:47 before the absol started hatching, which I'm doing 5 at a time (I want a shiny absol!). It may very well take longer for the hatching animations to finish than it does complete the requisite steps now.
Golurk's not evil...
Not sure if this will work.
Have a wild smeargle sketch protect or substitute.
let it call for help.
Use memento on the first smeargle while it uses protect/substitute.
The second one should theoretically sketch memento then.
Golurk's not evil...
It summons the dead with its dreamy dancing. From their malice, it draws power with which to curse its enemies.
Good idea, just tried it and it may work with a few tweaks.
I managed to get a SoS Smeargle to sketch Mememnto, the problem is I couldn't capture due to the other one being still alive and Protecting itself, resulting into the Memento Smeargle to ko itself at some point.
Now I'm gonna try to keep tracks of Protect PPs so the Smeargle with it will Struggle.
As for the Memento Smeargle..I'll make it waste Memento on a Protect and Disable it, Grimer should be able to do the job.
Didn't they used to protect people and Pokemon in those places, and still kind of do?Ever wonder why you only find Golett in ancient civilization ruins?
The energy that burns inside it enables it to move, but no one has yet been able to identify this energy.
Golett
Considering it's Ghost type, I can go on thinking that Golett/Golurk are powered by the souls of ancient people, sacrificed for the "greater good" to be implanted into a Pokemon husk.
Because I'm pretty sure that's likely the hint they wanted to give about this "mysterious" energy source.
Where do I get Type Null in game?
Post game stuff.
Beat the Elite 4 and return to the conservation deck on Aether Paradise. Gladion gives you Type Null for free.
Where do I get Type Null in game?
Hadn't put this kind of thought into it. I just saw "mysterious energy" and left it at that, but souls? I can dig it. Plus as you said, it does explain the Ghost typing.Golett

Sandile and Rockruff can cover cover rock and ground type for you.
Mudbray can do the same plus steel.
Skarmory covers Steel and Rock, it counters fairies well.
Alola Grimer covers Poison, so it could be a decent fairy counter as well.
Pancham and Stufful cover fighting.
Salazle and Flygon
