dunno why people give HITMAN a pass when for the life of the game every time they updated it they ended up breaking something and you would have to wait a week for them to fix it, the servers would go down and you would lose all your progress, or you wanted to play but couldn't log in so you could only play offline, which wouldn't let you unlock things

not to mention all the pre-release shenanigans and the way they handled the bonus episodes for people who didn't buy the season pass (which is counter to what they said at launch)

cos that didn't happen for me. *shrug*

i bought it on a full pack straight at launch and got pretty much everything i wanted. I recognise that it sucks for people who didn't, but i wasn't them, so

Weak photoshop. Games don't show date of purchase if you play them, just the date you last played the game on :p

How does one even get to sell TF2 items? I can 'Sell' them from my inventory while TF2 is running but it doesn't let me sell any of the items I have.

Didn't know where to post this but I bought Watch Dogs 2 in the sale and it runs horribly on my PC. I just requested my first refund on Steam. How long does it usually take for Steam to let me know when the refund went through?

Ok, so a grey outline means offline, blue online, green in-game but what does a yellow/gold outline mean? Just saw one pop up and I'm pretty sure I've never seen it before.

I refunded it ages ago as well, it only recognises official 360 ones, no 3rd party ones either. They said they would patch it but never bothered.

Having taken a look at your inventory like a creepy stalker, the items you have are all tagged as not marketable.

I refunded for the first time recently. Took about an hour for me to get emails saying my refund was going through. Another hour for the money to go into a pending state on my steam account and then another 24hrs before the money was available.

Just want to chime in and say Hitman is quite possibly the best thing I've played all year (well technically this year as I only just started getting stuck into it today). It's like the ultimate puzzle game with opportunities galore set over vast playgrounds. Only gripe I have is that I didn't pick it up sooner as feels like it would have been way more enjoyable and rewarding to explore each map as they came out and have the time to spend exploring each to their fullest before the next drop. Kind of feel the series is not just back to it's best but this is the best instalment yet!

Also jshackles, when are the Steam GOTYs going up? As I need to get my skates on and finish up some stuff before voting ends.

Tried the Euro Truck Simulator 2 demo... then bought the full game. I don't understand how this game is so fun, but it really is. Any of the DLC essential?

Couple dlc are expansions which adds areas/maps to it.

(are you the guy who said you only farm in stardew valley?)

I'm getting everything together right now and building graphics etc.

We are going to have three voting categories this year, it's going to be really cool. I hope we have a good enough turnout in all the categories to have some great games represented.

I should have everything ready to open the voting tomorrow when the sale ends and the community thread returns.

Since we have so many anime experts around here, does anyone know if NAruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution has a story mode of its own or should one just skip it and go for 4?

I have 3 and I still havent played but but I feel like going through those story modes which I remember being cool in the first few games, but im also seeing ppl called Revolution "3.5"

Only Damned because it was boring and there are like 4 or 5 servers to play.

In other things

Should i buy Redout before the sale ends?? i tried the demo and liked what i saw, but don't know if it's better to wait for a better discount in another sale.

Just thinking about that it's driving me a little nuts haha

Nothing refunded in the sale but I'm half expecting something I just bought to show up in the Humble monthly on Friday. Then we'll see.

Just played and finished Refunct. Nice little platformer/parkour game. Only lasts half an hour but at it's current price that's fine.

Same here, and I was super careful with my purchases. But im expecting Xrd to pop up in there or something. I doubt it, but just in case im not booting it until friday lol

Is the only difference between Dishonored and the Definitive Edition that the DLC's are included? I only own Dishonored and now I could buy the 4 DLC's for 9€ or the DE for 10€

Is the definitive edition not a seperate entry in the library?

Today's the last day. If you've browsed your discovery queue twice since the store updated 5.5 hours ago, you're done. Just remember that resetting your password imposes a seven-day market and trading cooldown.

The DE is merely the GOTY Edition renamed rather than the actual DE (there's no parallax occlusion mapping in the PC version and likely never will be). The only separate entry is the region-specific version of the game sold in Russia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland.

Arma 3 is my last purchase of the sale. Playing Siege and The Division on PS4 started an itch for team-based tactics that couldn't be scratched on consoles.

Ended up grabbing Chroma Squad, Momadora, Hotline Miami 2, and Pony Island. Would've gotten Cities Skyline and Wolfenstein TNO as well but my computer cant run them LOL
