The only console people are buying is the PS4. I am sure it will continue to sell well this holidays but it is a bitch ass console that you can't even take outside. With the PS4 you have to choose between playing FuckFest online with some fat racist dudes or hanging out with some hot people out on the rooftop. With the Switch you can have it all. The rooftop, the hot friends and some gaming. The Switch is even compatible with sluts as seen by the dick milking simulation. PS4 ain't for no sluts...

Xbone is like 30 million sales behind PS4.
I think it has sold like 24 million consoles. So like 10 million more than the WiiU.

Last observation before sleep. I hope the Steelers come out pass heavy with a lot of play action to start the game. We did this to throw the Colts off their game in Indy many a moon ago and it really threw them off their game. That Colts team had a better D than this Pats team but I would love to see us go unconventional for the first 3 drives and get a nice, healthy lead going before Harrison comes unblocked in the 2nd quarter and sends Brady back to his deluxe bitch blanket on the sidelines in tears. Pats are going to be totally focused on Bell and if we PA early I could see it fucking with them.

Gaming side is way down on the Switch, it is basically guaranteed to be a commercial success.

I should state that I really don't give a fuck about sales. JoyConBoyz is into most of the good shit but we ain't about those numbers (disregard my purchase of an abacus for my kids while you read this).
I don't know how much Switch will sell. But I do know it will save your soul. Xbone doesn't have that technology.

Eh I could see it ending up around there if they keep fucking up. If they course correct at E3 and show that they have some solid games lined up it'll be a success. Just gotta hope they have accounts and cloud saves figured out.

Yeah. In addition to its many (obvious) shortcomings, Wii U never got Nintendo's full attention the way the switch will.
Don't make me choose between my children. That is harsh and I am not going to answer that question.
I will say this. I will obviously cry tears of happiness when the Steelers beat the Pats (bigger than a SB in fact) and when the USPS dude delivers a Switch in my hands. I just don't know which one will cause me to cry more. That is the question you should be asking and we will know the answer to that in another 6 weeks.
Both of these things will make all of us happy and help us to forget about real life which is probably about to get shitty for the next few years.
Maybe MS scraps Scorpio and re-brands a new console around Kinect using the X360 engine and only charges like $250 for it.
I've been thinking about that actually. I'm sure that's true, but a nice thing about Pokemon is you can get a 2DS + Pokemon for around $140. Getting a Switch with the new Pokemon is $360. Plus, sometimes parents get each of their kids their own 2/3DS. Do you see the same thing happening for the Switch? I dunno I could see it being a bigger barrier than expected

Look at Zelda finally breaking that mold. They are sitting on a ton of potential, but we'll see if they cease the moment.

Yeah, i think the big pokemon switchplosion will probably be a 2018/2019 thing. While the 3DS is alive, pokemon's not a switch seller. But the 3DS is long in the tooth already, just a matter of time before nintendo kills it.

I don't see it. Switch doesn't have the momentum the Wii U did coming off the back of the insane success of the Wii. Word of mouth is terrible, the best launch title is also coming to Wii U, paying for an online service which still seems backwards as fuck, the next system-selling game is coming out in the holiday season when PS4 Pro will be discounted and the Scorpio is being released at the same time.
Nintendo are going to have to put on the greatest E3 show of all time otherwise they're completely fucked.

... even if they're "completely fucked", it's just for this year. They'll make changes, slash prices, Pokemon/Mario/etc will come out, tens of millions of consoles sold in a few months, Nintendo saved, GAF was wrong again, yadda yadda yadda
I'd like Nintendo to get smacked down for their pricing, but I think "momentum" is overrated, and most people underestimate the negative impact bad marketing had on the Wii U. Even mediocre word of mouth will mean a big improvement this time around.
It'll be a commercial success and Nintendo will get away with charging people for shitty online.
