Well I know that technically they did hook up at the end of Skyward Sword and made babies and whatever but they didn't show it, and I just wish they will actually make Zelda and Link's relationship blossoming in this game.

I'm with you, but it's not something I like to admit. Want actual relationship progression and not just led around the entire game with implications at the end. Don't think it's going to happen in a Zelda game though.

The only problem I have with the real design is her damn forehead which looks gargantuan. I can't find it now but I saw a comic comparing her head to Link's shield. It's enormous.
