You can only play play VS and Swap mode.
And it goes back to the menu after each game. Every game has 2 rounds btw.
But you can indeed play with up to 4 people, or against up to 3 CPU players, even with separate joycons and such.
I already have the game physically on both the PS4 and Vita and I'll be getting this one the day it comes out in Europe.
It's my favourite Tetris game since Tetris DS. :)

Is there a translation guide for PPT? It looks simple enough but I want to make sure I'm not missing some settings or game modes etc. Would like to buy before end of April

On my way over to a friend to play Zelda. Stopped by the pub, a pint of E.S.B and cleared a shrine.

Not possible just two days ago :)

Enjoyed my time with Zelda last night - not really sure about the control feel in portable mode, felt awkward for me. Bought a pro and will see what that's like when I hook it up to my tv. I think the portable mode is great for me considering I don't always want to sit at the TV and play

It's pretty straight forward even if you don't ready hiragana and katakana, but it certainly helps.

Not sure if there are any additional modes in the final version (I thought I heard there were), but you should be able to get by with this guide:

Two questions

Does the Switch really not charge up to 100% when using the dock?

And can you get rid of Japanese news in the feed when you have a Japanese account/demos?

Can you charge and play in handheld mode? I bought a usb c cable just for that.

I charged mine yesterday using my charger that I bought from Google for my 6P.

I'm being dead serious when I say that the Switch pro controller is the most comfortable controller I've ever held.

I bought two, just to have one to use for my laptop. Can't wait until someone makes some software for Windows to pick it up as a 360 controller.

So is there really a reason to turn the system off besides if you expect to not play it for a long time? It also seems to turn the system back on if you dock it making me think that it isn't suggested.

Any word on how much power the sleep mode consumes? Can I just leave a game running and not worry about it? And finally, all I need to do is press the power button at the top to put it into sleep mode, right? Or does that just lock the screen?

One thing I didn't realise was that the Joycon shoulder buttons are designed so you use your index finger for both buttons. As someone who always uses my middle finger for the triggers this takes some getting used to. ProController preferable in this regard.

Has anyone slid on the wrist strap backwards yet? I have. It was so hard to get off, my hand slipped and I snapped off the little gray lock tab.

So yeah.. I broke my wrist strap already.

I was wondering the same thing, and can't find an answer. I do know that the power draw during sleep mode on battery power is very low, so it's probably similar when docked. I still want to know for sure, though; there's a reason I don't keep my Xbox One in instant-on mode...

Playing the first couple of hours of Zelda, I can honestly see myself using this in handheld mode more than TV mode. So comfortable to play and despite being 720p the image is super crisp, for obvious reasons.

Weird I docked the system just now and I have to manually adjust the screen size. It was fine at 100% yesterday, now it wants to be around 96%

Doh! How did I not figure that out.

hehe. No worries. I've had my own blunders yesterday.
Had to look up how to throw away unwanted weapons in Zelda. I somehow couldn't figure it out. doh! indeed. ;)
For a good bit I just equipped them and threw them onto the floor instead. lol
Couldn't do that with bows though.

Is there an easier way to fully turn off the system then holding the button on top of the tablet part till the power options menu comes up? I've never really used sleep mode on anything and just like turning things off.

Hot tip: Switch game carts are approximately the same size as a microSD to SD card adapter (but about twice the thickness). Some of my microSD/SD card adapter cases fit the carts well for individual storage and transportation purposes.

Great, just got my Neon home and no game cards work. Put Breath of the Wild in and nothing comes up. Looks like I got a dud.

Doesn't seem like it. It'd be nice to do it remotely.

Puyo puyo Tetris on the Japanese Eshop

Srupid question but will it be in English.

I just thought I heard some games will switch to language of device

Anyways. Love the grey version. Very happy with my color choice. Makes it super sleek.

You telling me its impossible to keep the Switch fully powered off while in the cradle?
My only solution so far is unplugging it while not is use.

First post, so I hope I`m doing this right.. I have been doing some research, and it seems you can turn it completely off while in the dock if you have the joycons detached and hold the power button to get the power options menu. Then just snap the joycons on for charging, and it will stay turned off.

If they are attached you can also hold the power button for a while and the power options screen will show. Then just release it and press+hold again for about 5 sec. and it turns off.

I am also wondering if it`s the best solution to just keep it charging in the dock at all times when not in use though, or if it can hurt the battery-life.

I don't know how I'd ever do carts on this thing. The thought of someday traveling with a bunch of carts or even just carrying them around the house sounds so annoying

That's good to hear. I think both gamexplain and giant bomb said they noticed it didn't charge fully while planing.

Well that's strange. :-/
I took it with me to bed afterwards and kept playing, so I know it was at 100% as it dropped to 80 or so after about an hour undocked.

No, the Japanese version is only Japanese.
You'll have to wait for the western version to get Puyo Puyo Tetris in English.

Here's a great thread with all the English supported games: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1349430&highlight=

I already miss Miiverse so much. :(
Digital manuals are gone too. And the eshop is so bland. It also needs folders asap.

Nintendo console/handheld menus were always so playful filled with charme and great music but on Switch everything is just so basic.

Well, at least it's fast.
