Anyone got any tips for pressuring with Kolin? Her normals are so stubby that I feel like I get pushed out of range after like three buttons and have to give up my turn without accomplishing anything.

Flux ended my 10 Win Streak.

Why wouldn't you jump tech os in that situation, or jump forward instead of back, or backdash, or tech? You picked a terrible option and were punished for it

Nash can't do any of that. If I jump forward I still will get AA out.

I tend to buffer StMP or stMK for counterhit fishing. If you score a hit you maintain preassure with whatever EX or normal slashes, don't forget to use her command backdashes. Great for baiting even if they are blocking your shit.

Yeah, I mostly use those two buttons to poke but once I get pushed out of range I have a hard time continuing pressure since her dash isn't great and neither is her grab range.

I feel ya.

Tbh once you get pushed back out of range it becomes a game of crMK or backHK, just remember Kolin is about dem sweet sweet setups. I feel like if you don't use or know some it gets a little tricky. She's kinda like Akuma in that way I guess.

DP's give options too, even if they get a hit on you I find you can easily advance after it bops em on the head. They cover your ass should that happen.

I like to (on hit) EXslash, mkbackdash, crHK,LPDP, jump forward into a crossup to maintain pressure from the air. However experienced players will wise up to that shit quick. The doublejump iceberg thing is fantastic after HKbackdash if you have them in the corner. But again folks do know of this stuff lol best of luck hope I helped a little

GGs. Rare to fight Nash players above Platinum.

Nash can't tech or jump os tech or backdash? Are you silly?

Jump OS in the corner is pretty dangerous, but I know there are some characters who just can't use jump back OS because of how risky it is. Like, Birdies will very rarely use it due to how bad and telegraphed their jump is, and Dhalsims will never use it because that's crazy.

Doesn't seem like Nash would be one of those characters, though.

In the corner I jump forward with the os. I still might punished but it usually stops me from being cornered completely. Sometimes it's better to eat some damage and end an awful situation

Interesting. I don't like holding forward in that situation for obvious reasons, but I'll keep it in mind for times where I'm either thinking a throw is coming or I want to jump out completely anyways.

It's obviously not something to do all the time but once in awhile it's a good option

Bison's the new flowchart character. I fight at least five separate ones every time I do an online play session and they all use the exact same gameplan.

Sometimes I have to check to make sure I haven't been matched up with the same player again; that's how similar these encounters are.

My Bison (which I haven't played for a bit actually) is batshit (not in a good way), I routinely blow 3 stocks of meter to keep people blocking during my V-Trigger special chains just so I can dash forward or end in EXstomp and win the round by a grab lol. It's a waste and leaves me fucked in round 2 but I can't help it, I love how his shit looks when you have full everythang. Bad habbit.

At least with Bison you can get away with being a little bit of a nut because a decent combo leads you into some good damage. And people get real scared of Bison's throw capabilities.

Once you dash behind someone in his v-trigger and mix them up, that puts people in a permanent shook mode.
