I really hope you can choose the attacks of other party members...
they picked a really boring area
It reminds me of Rogue Galaxy on ps2 in a way.Risking getting piled on.... OPINION: DQ has been one gen behind the times since the SNES days. They're great games still in spite of this fact though.
This game looks and plays like straight out of the PS2 generation with prettier graphics and HD resolution but DQ fans wouldnt have it any other way.
That sounds like a problem with having X being confirm instead of cancel. Which is the rightful control scheme for all good people. Jump on X is natural. O should be accept. X should be cancel. No conflicts.
So it's pretty much like FFXII or Ni No Kuni. And of course DQX.
Now I wonder if the 3DS version is turned based

The 3DS version is a real time strategy game. Like Starcraft.
Really? Seems like a great showcase of the visual style of the game to me.
Unreal does a great job showing that lighting and the neat fire textures. It's got me excited...
Um the magic in this game looks AMAZING.
Of course it is.
What were those books, strategy guides?
Did I see that correctly? You can even set your MC to AI tactics in battles?

Will the entire 3DS game be like that, 3D graphics on top screen, 2D sprite graphics on the bottom screen ?
As crazy as it sounds...I think I like the look of the 3DS version more than the PS4 one. I'll gladly purchase both if given the option of course, but something about the 3DS version just looks more charming.
No. Only the beginning. You have to choose which you want to play at a certain point but you can switch back and forth at some point.
