TBF, all of those Nike releases you mentioned were always destined to be super limited releases (minus maybe the Space Jams)

Adidas' approach is still more egregious. New CW of a NMD? Sell out. Doesn't even matter what the CW is anymore. New CW of anything remotely hype? Sell out.

It's definitely helping them build hype and build the brand up in sneakerheads' minds though and Nike is just trying to get some of that mindshare back.

Just arrived today. I'll probably wear them on Easter Sunday since we're having a family get-together/birthday party at my older cousin's house. Comfy though have yet to put them through their paces.

I did try on the white/red pair at a local shop and if I ever see that mesh navy/gum pair that was posted on NT, I'll probably cop. The PK on the white pair were nice and I liked that it had a more "traditional" construction so I'll be on the lookout for any CWs I like.

Maybe in US but in EU nowadays NMD are no that hot, Adidas flood the market with so much CW, I could buy the new R2 (white/black with the red sole) if I want and last few days on online shop. Wasn't the case few months ago where even the ugly ass CW or no PK were sold out very quickly.

I love the R2 so much. Once you break them in a bit, they are stupidly comfortable.

These are PKs, no? I have the r1 pk so im just wondering how different the fit feels?

Yep, PK.

I find the R2's to be a bit more snug and with the block on the inside being bigger I just go true to size.

I actually like that fit better than the R1's, though. R1's for me have always been either slightly too tight or slightly too lose, have never found them to fit perfectly, but maybe my foot's just weird. R2's in my true size feel great.

I'm in the same boat. The R2s fit a little bit better than the R1s (I get both in 12.5) and I like the larger block on the inside as it adds some support that the R1s don't have.

Plus I love the Primeknit pattern on them. Looks great in person.

Wore the UB3.0s today for the first time. The comfort and support around the entire ankle and heel is so good.

I will be purchasing many CWs in the future, I can tell.

Got the R2s in too but haven't worn them yet.

UB 3.0 is the most comfortable sneaker in the market. And looks dope as hell too (CNY colorway is my fav)

I was dissapointed when adi dropped the plugs from R2s but in all honesty they are the second most comfortable shoe after in their lineup after the UBs. Great improvement over R1 in terms of sizing as well (they fit TTS).

Honestly other than the red R2 not feeling most of the new R2 colours. Too contrasty I guess.

Still love the OG cargo CW though.

We had an XI drop today and it was like no one cared. JB should've made that a hyper strike in celebration of the UNC win and only sold in 1 shop in NC and SNKRS.

They always drop lows in the spring/summer. The Georgetown, Nightshade, Concords, Tuxedos, Cherry Red, Reverse White/Red, Gold joints, etc all did #s.

XIs always sell out. JB should definitely slow down if that's the attitude lol.

Besides the Royals and Kaws it's been low key.

Nice, I have an old used pair that I got off Ebay some years ago. How's the quality/comfort on the 2017 version?

Was in a shop and tried on the Pure Boost 2017 navy/cream sole. They felt much nicer than a pair of the TB limited version I tried on. Maybe that's a coloured boost thing, they don't have as much give out of the box initially as white boost. Anyway, pulled the trigger on them
