Not a fan of the Power girl costume. hopefully the white is brighter in the game.
It kinda looks like they went somewhat family friendly with Power Girl.

Watched the intro cinematic and Chapter 1 online, it's better than some of the DCEU. The production quality is crazy, especially since this is a fighting game.

I have no idea who I'm gonna play in this game. There's at least 4 I really want to try out (Cold, Grodd, Bane, Swampguy). Never really played Injustice so it'll be fun to be overwhelmed with newness in a fighting game again.

How is that less cleavage?

it might just be me. But some versions of Power girl's costume would also have most of the red V taken out. to me Power Girl always looked like her breasts would fall out if she stumbled a little with how open the chest was.

but it might just look less revealing to me because of the red on the costume.

Superman doesn't need to be morally ambiguous. That's not a rule. NRS didn't write themselves into a corner, they made a narrative choice. The first game's writing wasn't perfect, but the narrative made sense within the context of the universe created for Injustice. Superman's actions shouldn't be undone; he needs to live with their consequences. You can't put the genie back into the bottle. I'll be disappointed if Injustice 2 takes Superman down the path of redemption.

But that's why I said they wrote themselves in a corner.

The good universe is gone and all they're left with is a shit Superman. All we have seen clearly shows a Superman that is far less evil than he was in injustice1, from his looks to his actions and speech.

Because in i1 , you're supposed to relate to the good Superman, that sees into what he could have become. In i2, whether you like it or not, Superman is still a huge character. His characterization is vastly different, and that's because the good Superman isn't here.

The issue being that you have iconic heroes still following him. It's not about the cool concept of having superheroes fed up with crime and ending criminals ( à la death note ), it's about supporting a child murderer in denial. Which is extremely cheap.

I don't expect a full redemption, and I don't expect Superman to cancel everything, but Killing Billy was the moment he lost all credence, the point of no return. If he's confronted between bringing Lois or Billy back and picks Billy, I'd be fine with that.

He was blinded by hatred, if we can get a Superman that sees his mistakes but keeps the same conclusion, it would only benefit the story.
Because then we can get a more coherent Regime and not just have evil counterparts of known heroes that don't quite make sense.

Yeah, you can tell the writers are trying to back down on evil Superman, but you burn that bridge when you have him melt the brains of a child for the simple act of questioning him.

They messed up. There was a way to write a Superman who, because of a tragedy, overextended his influence and developed a God complex, but they far overshot that landing. That Superman would have been redeemable, but the Injustice Superman is plain evil.

Raiden has to be a red harring. That silhouette is just too obvious. Why have the second guest character be pointed out that easily

The casual masses love MK and essentially giving away the 4th and 5th character gives a better incentive to bump up to the Ultimate. Plus, Manta's seen in the game and with one MK character shown already, those two would be the least surprising reveals.

Also, what do they have to gain by pulling some sort of bait and switch in an ad for the for Ultimate Edition pre-sell boosting right before the game launches? Seems much more likely to blow up in their face with the masses. It would be different if it weren't for sale already. The Baraka/Alien thing for MKX KP2 played out entirely before it went up for sale. That's a big difference.

Honestly thought that's Supergirl with a new costume.

Power girl? Really? haha

Technically Power Girl is just Older Supergirl with a new costume.

That's mostly just a symptom of Power Girl Having big breasts. This costume is a low cut V shape and you see more breast. Typically if a girl has big breasts anything slightly low cut regardless of shape will show ample amount of clevage and will give the appearance that everything is about to spill out even when wearing a bra with alot if support.

They've done Power Girl justice.

I Agree...coming from someone new to DC comics, I never knew that Super Girl and Power Girl was the same character(recently learned this fact). My only real knowledge of the Power Girl character was the Justice League episode where she was introduced as a Clone?
all that to say- NRS making Power Girl look like an actual older version of Super girl is wonderful. Nice take IMO.
