Inti Creates made it known last month that the company would be announcing two new games at BitSummit. We now have confirmation that both projects will be on Nintendo platforms, and more specifically, on Switch. Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu confirmed the news during a lecture at Tokyo Sandbox 2017.

Exciting! Inticreates is one developer that always has my attention, no matter the project. Whether it's a new IP, a classic IP like Blaster Master, or one of their recent IPs like Gunvolt, as long as it's 2D pixel action, it's going to be great.

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
U-four-ia and Mr. Gimmick remasters.

As a retro collector that would be effin sweet (even though I own both)

But I doubt it.. wouldnt make much sense remaking a PAL exclusive and a scandinavia exclusive games.

But I would be all for some remaster of other Sunsoft Classics like Journey To Silius, Batman or RotJ

More Sunsoft remakes?

Any notable non licensed Sunsoft games that could do with a remake like Blaster Master?

Batman! Loved that game as a kid and one of the few NES games I don't own anymore. Would love to be able to play it again. I know you said "non-licensed", but that's the game I want from them. Ha, ha!!

But Mighty No.9

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Nothing stops this train....Gunvolt 3 or something completely new would be nice.

How about working with Sega (and M2) for an all-new Fantasy Zone on Switch since Sunsoft worked on a number of those? The 3DS got both major ones (I and II W IIRC).

Inti isn't involved with the development of Bloodstained anymore iirc.

Has that been confirmed? I was under the impression DICO and Monobit were added to support Inti, not to replace them.

If they replaced the studio midway through development then that's actually kinda worrisome.

Great stuff, i'm excited regardless of what they announce. New titles? Great. Gunvolt Ports? OK with me. Megaman 9 and 10? Awesome.

I want Inti to take on Boktai similar how Gunvolt was a take on their own MMZ without the license. They know how to shake things up.

Gunvolt 3 please

I'm kind of curious on whether they'd do another Gunvolt. Gunvolt was clearly a success with 180K downloads. Gunvolt 2 had much fewer downloads at 38K. As such, there's the question of do folks want another Gunvolt, but Gunvolt 2 just wasn't appealing or not different enough? Or was the first one more than enough? Blaster Master Zero just came out (and is doing well), but I'd think it'd be way too early to announce any sort of sequel to that.

Maybe it's something new. Like in the vein of Master Blaster Zero, where they are reviving another long-lost IP.

Maybe the Bloodstained prequel game? I mean, a formal announcement: what it looks like, how it plays, release date, etc.

With regards to Gunvolt, I could see them giving it a third title especially as the switch is potentially full of an audience that are new to their handheld titles. Ive never played any of their 3DS stuff but loved Blaster Master, so will buy whatever they put out next.

It won't be Bloodstained or Mighty No. 9 since those are both contract jobs. Inti would be announcing their own projects at Bitsummit.

NES: Atlantis no Nazo, The Wing of Madoola, Ufouria: The Saga, Journey to Silius, Mr. Gimmick
GB: Trip World

Then later on past 8bit there's the Albert Odyssey series, a ton of Herebeke puzzle games and the loose fighting trilogy of Galaxy Fight, Waku Waku 7 and Astra Superstars.

Gunvolt 3 is still pretty likely even though the second underperformed (iirc). As for the other, I have no idea, but am excited to find out!

I think Gunvolt is their pet project, and a Switch (or a Steam? Not sure how the first game did on it) port of 2 would probably get more sales. Don't think they would release Gunvolt DLC for Blaster Master if they were giving up on the IP.
