I didn't even catch the MVP part of the Tweet, ha ha.
Still, even though Lebron is not the MVP this year (it's most definitely Durant without question for me), I can't help but realize Lebron is a historic player. Records like first trouble double average in playoff history just seal that. Top five no doubt.

Kings fan here who stopped watching the NBA after that job in 2002 by the NBA and Refs. Every Kings fan I grew up with is now a Warriors fan. I feel alone now.

Durant took the easy way to the top. I don't respect it.
Kinda hard to compare tbh. Warriors in 2015 come out of nowhere to win their first title in 40 years then last year Cleveland becomes the first team to ever come back from a 3-1 deficit to win their first title ever, led by Lebron after returning home. Way more emotion behind those two titles

Said this in the other thread, but Lebron's so great that even as a deliriously happy Dubs fan I feel bad for him. Can't help but admire how good he is and what he's done for the league.
Why does Durant have to play on a team that LeBron assembled? If Durant played in the east for 10+ years where he got to hand pick his team every year (and be lucky with the draft) he would have probably won one for Cleveland several years earlier than Lebron did.

Good on them. I'm not a fan at just how much the power balance is fucked, but they play fantastic basketball.
Been a Warriors since the early 90's, Run TMC days. The Championship 2 years ago was unbelievable. This Championship feels so good after last years loss.

This happens when any team wins multiple championships, all of a sudden fans need to prove their worthiness to like their team. I always find it weird. I got to experience it over the last several years as a life long SF Giants fan.

Been a consultant to the team all year, kinda like how Bama had...analysts
there is no statistical keeping of championships for consultants, so no he technically won't get a ring.
