At least you got the 2007-2017 backlist.

This run started decently and quickly became amazing.

Even most of the movie stuff was great.

Sad to admit I didn't get many of the vehicles.... however I think I have like 5 of

80's original
30th Anniversary
Ace Combat custom
SDCC Starscream
SDCC Jetfire

That 25th anniversary Joe release ignited a sickness within me. I have literally every single figure released (including the yellow Stalker error figure) on my wall. Pursuit of Cobra, too. Those PoC figures were nice.

Non-Joe related, picked this guy up last week. I made the dock base for him.

Hulkbuster pushed another month. Gonna be 2018 just accept it now dankir.

Should have called it Schedule Buster ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

And you know what, fuck it. I'm picking up Leonidas. Lion mode is pretty eh but that robot mode...

Surprised with how blatant the Maximal symbol is, though. All that's missing are the eyes.

I'm one of those guys who started with Transformers as well. It began with Energon and then moved to alternators, Galaxy, classics, you name it. If a line existed I had a figure from it, even those SD ones!
Gave most of them away, though. They were taking too much space and my taste changed with time. I don't buy nearly as many figures anymore.
.

Alternators and Binaltechs are ones I'm sorry I missed. I picked them up whenever I come across them at a good price. The only TFs that I prefer in alt mode.

Something else I'm bitter about missing the first time. Definitely picking this up and probably their Optimal Optimus too.

Yeah, they had really nice alts. My main problem with that line was how samey some of them ended up looking in robot mode.

I was so excited when Binaltech and later Alternators hit that I ended up with like 5 Smokescreens, Japan & US versions, simply because I liked the line so much.

Sure do wish Optimus/Nemesis weren't such pieces of shit, though.

STOP THE PRESSES!
Figma Guts - Black Swordsman ver. , Re-Color announced!
12/17

For many the holy grail, now is the chance without paying scalper prices.

Huh, wow, those are some great looking Joe stuff. Loved the cartoons (wished Renegades got a 2nd season), but rarely got into the toys, maybe I should get into it.

^ holy shit dat Venom. Second head is best.

Also, final flex payment charged for Civil War Iron Man finally. Now I wish I picked up Cap to display them against each other. Maybe he's not going for much on eBay. I haven't checked.

Well I learned my lesson, sold off my loot from JoeCon and essentially paid off my entire trip from the con exclusives. Friends bought tons of stuff at the con and are currently flipping it all for one hell of a profit. Heck a freebie unofficial GI Joe I picked up I tossed on the bay and got $120 for it?! WTF. No wonder people were waking out of the con with cases of exclusives.

The GI Joe stuff was just getting better and better, sadly the sales just went the opposite direction. The quality kept going up while the sales just kept declining. The Retaliation stuff was not so hot though, lot of collectors were not fan of the line with its awful packaging and some really odd decisions. Also making packed in vehicle driver figures to be shitty and have almost no articulation was stupid.

Really not a bad time to get in, most of the modern stuff is available out there for not that high of a price. Some more popular characters will be a bit more pricey but nothing really outrageous except some rare variant figs or limited exclusives.

does anybody know a good place to buy the Bandai Star Wars model kits other than ebay/amazon? I really wanna get that General Grievous.

I got all of mine on Amazon. Sorry.
Every model will inevitably show up there and be overpriced. Then in a few months it will be well below MSRP and mostly stay there.

Best TMNT figures? Necca or Figuarts? Looking for the 90s toon look

Figuarts have a lot more going for them with different heads which brings a little more variety I think. The Neca toon ones for SDCC all have the same expression and headsculpt which I think is kind of boring. The NECA ones are a better deal because you get the whole set at a good price, though, but they're not out so I can't really say about personal experience. If they're like their videogame versions, and they might be using the same bodies and just repainting them, then they don't have a ton of articulation going for them, but some people prefer that.

The Figuarts ones look cheap except, oddly, their belt buckles. But the NECA ones are impossible to buy for a reasonable price (first batch sold out in 5 minutes) so you really can't win.

Well... Figuarts... but even though I own the four Figuarts Turtles and am definitely getting Shredder... i still picked up those new NECA ones. Scored that SDCC set!

A lot of people will prefer the NECA though. I think I'll be happy to have both.

Come to me, my babies...

Figuarts BETTER make a Splinter...
