The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT3| Your Free Time is Badly Damaged

Spent some time doing the 12 memories. A few I recognized from already having been there, a few I just happened to randomly come across, and a few that look like they're all clustered around the castle which I have not been to yet... and then there's that one that's just a picture of trees.

Okay?

Your best bet for that memory is talking to the painter guy at stables.

So I'm planning to start a new playthrough on hard soonish. Pretty excited for it except one thing. How fast do monster regenerate health? Running around and using bombs to take out stronger foes was a tactic I used often. Would that be made useless in hard mode?

So this is my first 3D Zelda game. And I'm enjoying it so far. I just entered the Zora city, and was wondering if I should do the divine beast quest or should I wait a little bit?

I have 5 hearts, and have only completed 9 or so shrines.

I know the game is open world so you can complete it in whatever order you want, but I'd rather not get completely destroyed lol.

What do you guys recommend?

Is there anything else besides a Korok leaf to propel a boat?

There's a way to drop a (preferably large) metal weapon and use magnesis to push it against the mast. But I could never get it to work well; it would work for a second before it slips off.

There are usually trees around where a boat is docked. Cut/bomb some trees and you might get a korok leaf.

Or you could forget the boat and use Cryonis to hop and climb your way across the water.

Do whatever you want. The game is pretty well-balanced about this. Doing the Divine Beasts do help exploration a bit, though.

Since you're there already, why not just do the Beast. Or stop halfway through and come back later. It opens up a bunch of sidequest opportunities and new stuff to get.

Was i one of the few who assumed you had to bring you horse to a stable and spent most of my time not knowing you could have the stable retrieve your horse?

Dunno if this glitch was posted already but its definitely related.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8rTSJKAgxA

I tried it for myself on my master mode file and its nuts.

I farmed gems and koroks on the plateu to get weapon slots quick. You can also farm hylian shields this way. Not sure if you can undo this cause everytime you warp after doing the glitch the world will reset again.

Haha wow. Don't plan on cheating the seeds but I do want multiple hylian shields on hand.

Question about minerals: I am collecting a lot of them now (still relatively early in the story, no super bosses defeated). I am wondering how many I should keep versus sell for later game needs?

Found my 119th shrine and can't for the life of me find the last one. I really don't want to look it up online but man I have gone everywhere per my hero's path marker.

How hard was finding y'all's last shrine?

compromise?

Want to ease it up without completely giving up the challenge?

Check this user-made map with the number of shrines per region. It's how I'm doing my last 4:

If you plan to upgrade certain clothes you need them or to make circlets. But usually you can find some like a diamond circlet just from chests.

Otherwise you can just sell them.

Trying to find ancient cores is ridiculously difficult. I just want to upgrade Stasis!!

Most of them you get naturally in some shrine chests.
Depending how early you're in the game (I assume you may be too early), you can farm them on moving guardians or in major test of strength shrines (whose guardians respawn after a blood moon).

Find the other electrical ball? Pft, more like never bother to go find it and go grab a Beer!

heh, I found one in a Modest Test of Strength right after complaining. That always seems to happen.

I didn't know that the Test of Strength guardians respawn after a blood moon, though. That'll actually be really good to know for when I start farming to get the ancient armour. Thanks!

So my game keeps freezing when trying to buy the last enemy photo from the ancient tech lab wtf.

This happened to me too. It seems it tried to sell me a picture that I already had so when I bought it the game froze on the album screen.

I checked my whole album (so I didn't get any picture labeled as new) and then warped again to the lab, went to buy the picture and it was not available anymore (because I already had it).

Is a weapon's durability affected if you use magnesis to fling it at enemies?

Yeah. I have plenty of the giant ones, but none of the regular.

Go to an area with a lot of guardians. Save your game. Defeat guardians, if you don't get cores, reload your save and try again. It's a random drop.

If you can afford to use ancient arrows you can do this pretty quickly.

Did the Beast. Before going in I decided to get another heart, so I had to find and finish two shrines first. Anyways then I started. I fought that Lynel or whatever its called and kept dying lol. I got really close once, but he killed me at the last second :(. Anyways, I decided to just gather the arrows after that and went off to face the Beast. Took awhile but I finished. Thanks for the advice guys.

I just jump over it with revali's power lol

Yep, seeing your question I figured out to answer with the respawn process because I think many people don't realize it especially early in the game.
I figured it out myself when you had a quest who required to get a guardian axe 3.0 (++).
It's also a good way to get those powerful weapons that are usable during thunderstorms.

F****. I've been killing Hinoxes so fast the game doesn't have time to register the killing process.
Kilton told me I killed 16 while I must be at 34-35. :(
