I was checking out a friend's new 4K TV the other day and when I got to the bow tutorial, I instinctively tried to move the PS4 controller to aim and then realized what I was playing.
I've gotten so used to motion aiming with games like Majora's Mask 3D, BOTW, Splatoon, and can't help but feel it is vastly superior to aiming with sticks, it's so responsive and tight, and basically second only to mouse and keyboard. Why isn't this more of a standard? The PS4 controller should be just as capable, right?
I grew up playing consoles my whole life, but have been more PC in recent years. This combined with great motion aiming has made sticks feel like the dumbest, slowest, clunkiest way to aim in video games and it feels terrible.
