Completely tilted today.
Lost a CQB battle when I had the upper hand.
Get grenaded for the first time in dozens of hours.
Ambush and shoot a guy twice with an AK at point blank then just go completely wide, then as I rush their building I somehow completely forget they can jump down, despite me 10 seconds beforehand watching to see them jump down.
Get sniped in every direction and make it through unscathed, then as soon as I shoot my target who's been firing at me for ages, they somehow get behind a tiny bump that makes the top of their head visible but still technically behind cover, two other people immediately shoot at me at once.

my friend was pinned and got downed and i managed to snipe the guy who did it with my kar98, i went over to revive quick and started taking fire from the squadmate of the shooter, i pop him twice in the chest with the kar98 but he survives and kills me with auto fire
i know i should go for headshots but i am scared, the thing is that shots to the armor just arent good enough

The M24 is a pretty crap weapon in my opinion. I prefer the Kar for that delicious bolt action damage or the SKS for semi auto fire. If I'm lucky and get a SKS with a decent scope I actually run a red dot when it comes to CQC, it's an amazing gun with an extended mag.Shot a guy twice in the torso with a M24 but he didn't go down so I died

Yeah not a fan of the M24 myself, I much prefer the Kar98 which I'm finally coming around to after forcing myself to use it instead of relying on AR's all the time. I had a game last night with a silenced Kar98 and I got 3 headshots in the top 10, I didn't win but I've seen the light.
Just had my best finish at #6 with 4 kills. Got killed by an SKS at a distance. The first kill was a firefight while I was behind a hill and the other person a tree. The next kill someone had me dead to rights, I turned around and full autoed out of desperation and got him, lol. One kill I was behind the guy running into the zone and he was able to duck behind a tree, but I ended up getting him. The last one was a guy that saw the previous firefight and tried hiding, I bandaged up and took him out, too. Then one of the final zone reductions I got sniped by the SKS.

My heart was pounding through my chest at the end of it. Was lucky enough to drop into the school from far away so there was no competition. When I picked up the kar and an M16 with a silencer off the roof I knew it was basically my game to lose.

So 3 of my friends and I decided to do one more squad match for the night. We just had 3 people in our squad. My friends and I drop on the military base. No one else dropped there, so we had the whole place. We ended up getting 3 SKSs with suppressors and 4x scopes along. The circle was all the way north by Georgopol. So we had a long drive. Eventually, we set up on the mountain and manage to pick a few guys off from up there. Afterward, we destroyed 2 cars that attempted to cross the bridge. Found an air drop with an M249. At the final circle, we had to cross open grounds. As we crossed it, we saw a few groups fighting each other. We manage to kill each group thanks to the suppressed SKS. The last 2 guys had snipers, so I ran in the open field so my friends can locate their position. I ended up getting killed but my friend ended up firing away with the M249 as my other friend went around the hill to get the last 2 kills. Damn, that was an intense match and a nice chicken dinner.
The clip's from the opening of the anime. There's references to other games like smash and generic JRPG's in the opening, too.
The opening is the best part about the show, unfortunately

No update this week? Game is in dire need of the vaulting animations and they need to fix their servers, game doesn't register shots or dmg seems plenty random at times. I thought the game played well after last month update but it's back to feeling like crap now.

Circle going onto military island is pretty much cheaters heaven. Everyone is hiding inside planes and other geometry. fix this shit.
There is something really flawed about the way they coded hit registering in this game, you shouldn't be able shoot through geometry, just because you see something it shouldn't be able to hit it. They just don't have proper clipping checks in place. Buildings don't load, you can hit people through it... you go inside wall, you can hit people through it. It's so amateurish.

I never know what to do if I'm on the outskirts of the last couple of circles. I need to run to get into the white lines, but if I do I'll get shot by someone that's cool with dying out of bounds as long as they'll get another kill.
What are the strategies there? Especially when most of the end game seems to be in an open plain/hill.

Still working on my first win. I got 4th tonight and learned that hiding in the water all game is good for getting to the end but maybe not for being able to kill anyone late.
Probably because hit detection is client side. It's still beta though, I'm sure they'll improve on it.

got into a match with 4 of my friends on squad mode finally and first thing we do is land in a house with 12 other people and that place got lit so fast it makes me wonder if i will ever catch that sense of adrenaline rush again.
it went from fist fights to gun shots to one grenade and a molotov and that place was more quiet than trump about russia
anyone else have a familiar story?

Gah, another good game, got to #4 and died to the gas as I was caught in a fire fight I won but then had someone else shooting at me as I was running desperately for the circle lol.
my 1060 gets super hot at 94 degrees even in the menus i already dropped every setting to medium. tried other games, Hitman (2016) and GTA V at high and medium settings respectively are at 72 degrees median, max 80. what setting should i tweak, general googling and PUBG forum hunting make my head hurt.

Well, it crashed and when i play, back to normal temps at 78 max lol. EARLY ACCESS REALNESS.

my 1060 gets super hot at 94 degrees even in the menus i already dropped every setting to medium. tried other games, Hitman (2016) and GTA V at high and medium settings respectively are at 72 degrees median, max 80. what setting should i tweak, general googling and PUBG forum hunting make my head hurt.

My friend, who lives in the same house as me and is using the same internet connection, lags like crazy sometimes, but the game is absolutely fine for me. I used to get a bit of lag right after landing, like pretty much everyone else did, but the recent patches seem to have fixed that right up.
We use Discord and his voice comms are 100% crystal clear, so that makes me think must be the game.

Man you should not be hitting 90+. Are you overclocking? How old is the card? Might wanna get a swap out if it's still under warranty, cards should not go above 83-84C
