Marvel is the only schedule i believe, the only times they changed it was to accommodate a gift from Odin himself. And it might have worked out better for Black Panther

That was my thought as well, but WB leaving both slots open seems off, and The Batman is what I'd guess to be closest to production.

They would need to be shooting now to hit those mid year dates. Sounds like they're just going to have Aquaman next year which is a totally strange failure of production I agree.

Batman has 0% chance to hit that date next year.

Reeves is in the process of rewriting the script. He also said to WB that he wants to take a break and not jump straight from Apes into the next blockbuster production.

Yeah no way.

I just realized WW is going to be the first superhero movie since The Avengers to crack 400M DOM without Batman, Iron Man or Spider-Man in it.

Just another thing to add to its mighty impressive run.

But Avengers had Iron Man in it.
Guess my wording was weird.
Should've said that The Avengers was the first movie without Batman or Spider-Man to clear 400M DOM, and since then no other movie without those two or Iron Man has done so.
Wondy joins a pretty exclusive club.

It also means that Homecoming will be the first and potentially only movie with Iron Man since The Avengers to not cross 400M (because it's not doing that unless a miracle happens). At least all of the movies he's in* will have cleared 300M though.

*not counting The Incredible Hulk cameo

I have to say that Valerian's projected $16m over three days obviously isn't great but it is still better than most of the doom laden predictions I've seen. I thought it was going to be lucky to get $11m never $16m given it's social media profile etc.

Valerian was a fucking embarrassment. It's been awhile since I've seen a movie that, on numerous occasions, made me want to crawl under my seat and hide.

This oddly excites me for the film. I quite like the idea of this film being super divisive perhaps even provoking some debate.

But, in saying that, I'm pretty sure I said the same thing about Lucy and that was one of the worst films I've seen in the last ten years.

It's another two weeks before Valerian comes out in the UK so I expect it's release to be accompanied by headlines of doom and gloom.

Good to see bayformers bombing, hopefully Spidey overtakes it.

But wow, no wonder they keep recycling Pirates movies, didnt know people still watch it.

I don't even understand how they're going to have anything done in time for those March and July 2018 slots.

They have movies with Batgril, Aquaman and Suicide Squad planned, but no new Superman movie?

WTF??

He's one of the bigest (if not the bigest) hero of DC with Batman.

I'm assuming they don't want to reveal a new Superman movie until he's officially back.

Man of Steel underperformed. Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman performed better than he did. It's not that shocking that until they figure out what they want to do with him he doesn't have a film announced until they have a good idea what they want to o with him.

He's also dead so he was never going to have a film announced currently regardless

16 million is fucking terrible. There's no way to sugar coat it for this type of big budget blockbuster sci fi action film.

Been hearing from many people that Valerian is a real piece of shit. And this is from the kinda people you'd expect to love it.

These French English language Hollywood wannabes rarely turn out good.
